Beautiful color

This is the last to arrive component of the five bookcase set. After a small fiasco regarding the set, thanks to Wayfair customer service I have a satisfactory outcome. Now for the shelving unit itself (the combined 5 that is), it is exceptional. The price is high but the build quality is generally very good and the aesthetics of the five units together are stunning.

Well worth the splurge! I purchased 3 to make a wall unit for my living room (left end, middle section and right end). The end units are slightly lower, which allows for the crown molding to wrap around the entire center section. The end units are also shallower in depth, which is exactly what I wanted because I think it looks more custom than just a wall of basic bookcases. Using it to showcase art and decor pieces. Helps add depth and interest to what would otherwise be a blank wall. Would also look amazing in a home office.

Big, expensive and a little too dark, but love it!

Like the big center bookcase, this side piece is beautiful and well built. It appears to be made of actual wood, with no apparent sign of particle board. It aligned perfectly with the center unit straight out of the box, but provides balancing adjusters at the bottom if needed. Again, along with the center unit, it surprised me how large it was. I knew the dimensions when I purchased it, but seeing in place in my small apartment I didn't realize how overwhelming it would be physically. I would've preferred the entire collection to be 10-12 inches shorter and narrower. Its size probably explains it's steep price, however. One last thing, the color is definitely darker than sown in the pictures. But I tried taking a few pictures to post with this review and my pictures all came out lighter as well, so it must be how digital cameras see it.

Beautiful, but REALLY big and darker than expected

This is a beautiful bookcase! Well made, and HUGE! I knew the dimensions before I ordered it, but having it in place it seems bigger than I anticipated. The color is definitely darker than shown in the pictures, but not so much that I would say it is misrepresented. I'm sure they lightened it up just to show more detail. I haven't noticed any particle board. It appears to be solid wood, or at least wood veneer over plywood. Overall, I'm pleased with this and the two side book cases. It was a little pricey, but I'm glad I bought it. I was able to get it with Overstock's **% off offer at the time, which saved me over $*** on all 3 pieces.

I ordered a bookshelf. It came on time (actually a little a head of schedule) and was well wrapped and in perfect conditions when it arrived. It is a very nice bookshelf and we are very pleased with it.

dark brown in color

This is well built but a bit dark in color compared to the online photo. We were looking for a tall book case to match our 84 inchx47 inch wide x22 inch deep shelf. We stacked the left and right pier as a right angle and the bookcases were a space saver and looked good. Wish the bookcase came in lighter color with a red cherry option

Beautiful piece of furniture and we really like it! Unfortunately ours got some damage to the rear cover in shipping but the company has indicated a fair solution!

Beautiful Bookcase

Easy to order and received it with no damage. Recommend delivery to the door. It's a very large shipping box and takes at least two people to move it and unpack it. Love it in my house!
