These are really solid lamps. The base is heavy, so it does not tip easily; the inline switch is a toggle, instead of a cheap roller; the base doesn't have nooks and crannies, so can be easily dusted; and the minimalist design is nice. The 15-amp bulb is a bit dim, but is perfect for my needs and can be swapped out, if necessary, per other reviewers.

The lamp was exactly what I wanted - not too big - uses light bulbs (not all lamps do!) - and it looks nice on my desk. I also liked the price and the fact that shipping was available. -So glad I found it.
