Box Grater taken to the next level - handy and well designed

Great little refresh to my old box grater. Compact design. Non slip base works well. Sharp cutting edges. Love the pull out zester - very useful for finishing touches or zesting straight into a pot. Detachable storage box with lid is a clever add on but not used for grating yet - can be used as another storage container (with handy volume measurements marked on its side) on its own as well.

Amazing Product

I bought this as a gift and my Mum loves it. The container and zester attachments are great so that everything is all in one.

Great Grater!

So happy with this grater. Love that the cup inserts into the grater to store it. Great looking and nice to handle.

Not cheap for a grater by any means, however product looks well made and packaged, of high quality. Oxo is a trusted brand.

I have been looking for

I have been looking for this for a long time. It makes home cooked meals much easier to prepare ahead of time.

Cracks if put in dishwasher, no warning anywhere

Put this in the dishwasher and the plastic has cracked in 2 places. Should be a prominent warning somewhere about this. Waste of money.

Great Grater

I generally dislike box graters because I often chip my thumb nail - or my thumb! That said, this is a really good one. It’s sturdy, the box on the bottom is handy and the zester is an added bonus. GO OXO!

safer to use than old fashioned cut box grater

Cheese is cut more quickly and with less threat to hand due to single direction slices. Compact design with removable zester and collection and storage for grated cheese makes this a pleasure to use.

Great product for the value

Great product- the mice planer is a nice addition tot he product. And I appreciate that the bin comes with a lid for food storage

Love how it comes apart so that you can get more precise with it. Also comes with a little container, this I was not expecting but a superb addition.

Perfect Grater!

A beautifully thought out kitchen tool that doesn't slide around when you use it and doesn't waste ingredients thanks to the attachable container on the bottom. Stainless steel means it can easily go in the dishwasher. Much better than cheap plated steel from the discount store. Expensive but worth it.

Useful tool

A useful addition to my kitchen. Bought it at discounted price so good value. The material is not solid enough but I use it only occasionally - hopefully it will last.

such purposeful design

this grater is so purposefully and practically built - it's really made in a way that is thoughtful and effective. it's a pleasure to use. so glad I took the plunge and bought this.

Best grater I've used

I bought this after my original grater bit the dust. I wish I wouldn't have waited so long. Another grate product by OXO! ;) I love the removable zester. This design also seems easier to clean.

This is the worst cheese grater I’ve ever purchased

I am on my 2nd Oxo cheese grater. Over time, the plastic handle separates, rendering the grater useless and dangerous to use. I’ve tried to snap it back in, and it breaks off again. After it kept breaking off, I noticed gunk on the underside of the handle. It’s going in the trash along with my etched fine grater.

Great purchase

I bought this about 2 months ago and have loved using it, definitely better than my previous grater, and I like that the zester is detachable. Pretty pricey though

Soooo convenient

I’ve had this grater for a couple months and it’s proved itself worthy of the price. I absolutely did not know how much I needed an attachable container at the base to catch shredded items, but I can’t live without it now. It also grates harder cheeses such a parmesan easily and efficiently. Great buy!

Effective & So Convenient

I absolutely love this grater-- it's so effective grating and zesting. I especially appreciate that it's dishwasher safe and remains sharp after being washed. The measuring cup/tuperware it comes with is ingenious, I use it constantly to store leftover grated cheese.

Great Quality!

Bought this to replace an older metal grater that we had. The metal grater, over time, started having rust, so we wanted something that would not and this fit the bill! It's very sturdy, well made, and is easy to grate. Another quality item from C&B!
