This is not worth the money!!!

I have bought and put together a couple of coops. This one was not the size they advertise and was very poorly made! It is NOT big enough for 2 - 4 chickens! So disappointed!

4 chickens

Smaller that I thought it would be. Well made. Would be nice to see an insulated vervion for the great white north. Also a real 4 chicken model would probably sell like hot cakes.

Directions are terrible!!

I am very satisfied with the quality and I had no missing/broken pieces, HOWEVER..

Deceiving measurements and terrible ladders

We have bought this coop in mind for our 2 chickens and a rooster, thinking the dimensions would be perfect for them to run around and have enough space to explore and live comfortably. However much to our demise the coop is not only made out of lower quality wood, but the dimensions are completely off. Where they have written it is 85cm on the photo, and then 57cm in the description, the width of the runs on either side, was in fact 49cm! This makes the living space very cramped for the chickens and very agitated as they are scrambling on top of one another with such little moving space.

Fits Guinea Pig Sized Hen

Size was very misleading. It counts overhang on roof. So inside depth of cage is about 17-1/4 inches. Length is a couple inches short. The ramps pretty much fill the pen part and leave only about 5 inches on each side for the chicken to pass. So if you aren't keep tiny chickens, then your big fat Rhode Island red isn't going to be able to walk around. The plywood is very thin and pieced/patched together. None of the wood has any finish to it.

Ok for 1-2 chickens. Not ok for outdoor coop.

Nice design but not would not advise using outdoors. Mine is inside a 12x12 horse stall, completely out of the elements, but I still would not expect it to last more than a year or so...especially the roof where the chickens like to perch and poop and which really doesn't hold up to cleaning. It's rather small and would only accommodate 1-2 chickens full time. I have 6 chickens but they have a total of 288sf in addition to their house so it's not an issue.

Great chicken coop

This chicken coop has made a great addition to our yard. After originally purchasing two different designs from a different retailer and receiving a substandard product both times I decided to try this one from overstock. I'm glad I did it came undamaged and has been great. Would definitely buy this item again. This is a great price for a coop this large.

Cheap, small

The item is really cheap compared to other coops I have purchased. The dimensions are deceiving on width because it includes nesting box so really not 33" wide. Not much room to put water or food and cleaning the poop real be a chore. I do realize you can slide out the draw but what about in the winter when it freezes. The design should have access points from top. Yeah it cute but that's all it is.

I ordered this for ten chickens and the dimensions are horrible. The wood is basically like card board and is very flimsy. The size of the coop after spending hundreds of dollars can literally maybe fit two chickens but not comfortably. If you pay for this coop I hope you only have one chicken because that is all it will fit. We also had to treat the wood ourselves because of how damaged and cheap it is. I would not recommend!! I am highly disappointed and dissatisfied.

It's going to be a good start, but it is definitely not sturdy. I think I can build something twice the size for less money. So this will basically serve as a model for us. Also a corner was broke when it came in.

Chickens are happy with their new coop

As expected for the price, holds 3-4 young hens or 2 mature hens. Only downside I found was the house is not tall enough to hang the bulb with shield and safety cage. But there are other options for heat. Overall, the chickens and I are happy.

Fun to Build

We ordered this for kittens we have and since they are now bigger we leave the doors open for them to play in it. We do plan on putting it on a higher base to give them more height for a bed to hang or ramps to the roof. We had an easy time putting it together.

Putting this together did take a team and carefully reading of the instructions. We are actually using it for kittens and they seem to love the spot in the back for sleeping. A good size for 2 of them and room for 1 more.

This chicken coop was a great purchase for the price. The instruction manual was easy to follow and I put the coop together in about 30 minutes. It is sturdy enough for little chicks, but I would not recommend for full sized chickens. Maybe a very small bantam.

Coop was smaller than expected, nesting boxes are not large enough for bigger breeds, so don't expect to keep four Buff Orpingtons or other non-dwarf breeds. Price was good, a year in to the coop and I've had to make a lot of modifications. First every single lock/latch has broken. The ladders were the worst, the flimsy construction of them started dropping treads within the first week. With the amount of repairs and modifications I've had to do to make it functional, I should have just bought a better coop.

overall good for the $

Requires some skills for assembly. I built a platform to mount it to & screwed it down with 1/4" spacers under the screws for easy hosing out. Chickens broke the ramp right away, corrected with longer screws. Had to put screws in roosting poles. Nothing major.

Great purchase!

Great Chicken coop for the price...took about an hour to assemble. Fits our 3 Chickens comfortably. Quality is pretty good...I wouldn't call it high quality but its good quality for the price.

Not Good

picture makes it look a lot bigger than it really is. The instruction to put together are a joke. They give you panel numbers to connect together but none of the panels are marked at all and some of the screw packages are not market. Also broken parts still trying to get replaced. Would not buy this again if I knew.

I bought this for my two bantam's. It is a good size for two chickens but would not be big enough for more. I do like how the run is attached and there are lots of doors to get into the coop. It is not as sturdy as I would like, so if you are going to more it around make sure to be careful. I would buy it again as it keeps my chickens safe and gives them a little room to roam.

Misleading but sturdy

So I purchased this coop because it says it can hold 7-10 chickens(does not specify size of chickens) Well it does not hold any average size chicken. Maybe few bantams but nothing bigger. I own black Jersey giant rooster and Rhode island reds hens and poor chickens could barely move. This coop is perfect for a rabbit. The material and instructions were nice and easy.
