Drawers sound like a freight train

This was a big disappointment. I spent hours assembling this dresser. It comes in so many pieces but that was ok because I knew what I was in for. What I didnt expect was for the drawers to sound like a freight train. There is nothing smooth about them. The interlocking mechanism rattles and the drawers make noise as they move on the track. I wanted to like this dresser because it looks nice but the noise would wake up my baby every time. I called Storkcraft to see if theres a remedy. The agent said the noise is normal.

It came packaged well and the directions were actually really well scripted and easy to follow. However, one of rails was missing a pre-installed metal sleeve so I had to use gorilla glue for the camlock bolt that was supposed to screw in there. Also, after assembling the dresser, I noticed one of the side pieces has a residue all over it that is extremely noticeable and won't come off. This is the first time I've ever had to request replacement parts on an assembled item. The backboards also have a chalk-like residue on them and are all scratched up. Overall, a decent quality product, but I'm leaving a one star review for the poor quality control from the manufacturer.

Good Dresser and Promt support

It’s a very good dresser for the price you pay. Strokcraft Support team is very responsive as well. The first piece came with defective pieces and I realized it after assembling. Home Depot and Storkcraft was prompt in replacing. I had to go through the assembly again though - but I can’t complain.

I love this dresser. It’s the perfect size for my daughters nursery. Now that she’s older clothes still fit really nice in there. I was able to put it up in less than two hours. My only complaint is I wish it had a board where cabinet magnetic locks could be attached to for baby proofing 

I wish I could give this a little above 4 stars. While the dresser looks exactly like the photos and it slides open and closed easily, it does feel a little cheap. The wood is thin and light sounding when the drawers are opened. It’s held up fine in the nursery but we’ll see how it holds up as my baby grows into a wreck less toddler!

This is terribly made. We used this as a changing table for our newborn and within 3 weeks of using it, it was wobbling and complete unsecure. We tightened everything and it still sways 2" each way. Trying to return it, but Wayfair says it's outside the return window (because we bought it before the baby came, but didn't start using it until he arrived)...

Based on all the great reviews, I thought I was going to love this dresser. Unfortunately, it feels flimsy and like it could easily break. There isn’t even a real back to the dresser. Certainly not something suited for a 2 year old who will yanking on drawers. I will be breaking this down and sending it back.

The dresser itself is beautiful. Impressed by the quality overall. Drawers open and close nice and smoothly. My only issue was the color. Ordered grey to go with a blue room. We opened the box downstairs and assembled outside his room. I loved the grey, but I wish I would have brought a panel into the room because when we brought the finished dresser in, the color totally changed against the blue walls (and not in a good way). Kind of stuck with it at this point, so I’ll find a use for it, but make sure you check the color in your room prior to putting together!

We have had this dresser for a few years for two boys, and it has held up well. We bought the exact same one for our younger son as a result. While building it, a huge knot/hole formed from the pressure of simply pushing one panel into another with the dowel rod, as instructed. The hole is on the top surface of the dresser and looks very bad. We’ll have to put something on top of it to hide it- this shouldn’t happen with a brand new product

I had previously purchase this product for my oldest child 2 years ago and it was very high quality and made well. I just purchased it again for my second based on this and unfortunately the quality is now much lower. The drawers only pull halfway out, it is wobbly due to a change in the way the back is now structured and the construction of the drawers is now less sturdy. It still looks good but for the money, and based on what it used to be, this product should be better.

Dresser came together very nice. I was nervous with some people reviews but it went pretty smoothly. You’ll want 2 people. The only “issue” we ran into was when putting the drawers together the screws were almost too small for the size of the holes so I did have to use different/larger screws to make it a tighter fit. Overall, good for the value. We also changed out the knobs and think it looks really nice for our nursery.

Excellent dresser. We have had it for 2 years now, used daily, and it is still in near new condition. The drawers still work wonderfully, and despite using the surface as a changing table for a wiggly baby, it is solid and intact. This is good quality woodwork. The style is very classy and it matches our white crib perfectly. Would recommend.

this is by far one of the lowest quality furniture pieces I have every purchased on wayfair. One of the drawers was missing a wheel on the slides and there were multiple splits in the very few solid wood pieces. It feels extremely flimsy and I would be returning it but it the dresser/changing station for my new baby who is due in 2 weeks, so I think I’m stuck with it until I find a replacement. This piece is the last straw for me, I’ve had enough of these low quality wooden furniture pieces that wayfair sells.

Very pleased with how this Dresser came out.Nothing was damaged during delivery(most complaints from other reviews), easy assembly, and the wood feels nice quality without the price tag. Yes, some parts of the product could be a little thicker, but overall, VERY impressed with it especially for the price. Just set up today so will have to see how durable it is but I have high hopes. Definitely recommend

I am very happy with this dresser. It arrived packed well and all of the pieces were included, in perfect condition, and well labeled. It's almost entirely real wood and the assembly was simple and straightforward. By myself it took about 3 hours (including unpacking before and clean up after). It's solid, it looks great, my 5 year old (who will use this) approves...I can't think of anything else except I definitely recommend this dresser.

I'm a bit torn about this dresser. Yes, it looks nice and it's overall decent. However, I'm frustrated by the instructions and the quality of the product. For the price, I expected the pieces to fit together flawlessly and the instructions to be extremely clear. However I found that a lot of the pieces did not align (additionally, you MUST use a drill if you want this to be done properly, which is not indicated prior to purchase) and the instructions were so unclear that I actually caused a crack in one of the drawer faces by drilling with the wrong screw. I'm happy with how it turned out - it looks very classy and the size is perfect for us - but the quality of the pieces is staggeringly average and the instructions are simply garbage. Do better or lower the price to reflect the quality. Less

All of the drawers do not align correctly. I'm surprised more reviews didn't have this issue, maybe we got a dud. The dresser comes with pre-placed rails on the inside of the dresser for the drawers to slide into. We ended up having to unscrew these on two of the drawer placements to move them just a little bit up or down because one drawer was scraping the top of the dresser, and another drawer was hitting the drawer above it such that it wouldn't open without opening both drawers. Now that we moved the drawer railings (something you're not supposed to have to do as part of assembly) the drawers don't scrape, but now they don't glide smoothly like the other drawers do. The finish does seem nice and we didn't end up with any damaged parts like some other reviews. Overall it was too much hassle for what I thought was a cute and well reviewed dresser. We're keeping it because the baby is on the way soon and it would likely be a pain to try to send back, but overall I'm disappointed. Less

Okay I am seriously impressed with the quality of this dresser. This is the 2nd dresser of this type we have bought recently from Wayfair and the quality of this one is awesome. The drawers are made of real wood! Not flimsy particle board. The drawers open and close nicely and my husband said it wasnt too hard to put together. The only downside is the drawers are a tad bit smaller than the other dresser we bought, but thats a small price to pay for the quality. The other dresser we are constantly putting the drawers back together and they fall apart. Not this dresser. So happy with this purchase!

Nice Aesthetic - Tough Assembly

We have been short on storage space since we found out we were pregnant with our second child, so hearing that we were receiving a new chest of drawers provided some relief (we now need to have clothes available for two small humans).It is the perfect size for children’s clothing and the drawers all open and close very smoothly. In the past we have had sticky drawers and I really can’t compliment the manufacturer enough on how little effort it takes to open these. I love how well the colors match most of the other furniture that came with this bundle for the room.We were a bit dissatisfied with the material that the dresser is made of. It is made of particle board and not solid wood, so it may not last as long as we would like for our children. I suppose for the price point it works, but if you want something that will last/have more durability it may require paying a bit more up front. Storkcraft has more offerings for dressers, so it might be worth looking into and comparison shopping.We also had an issue with one of the drawer knobs - it was stripped so we still need to find a way to get it onto the dresser. Other than that, it had all of its pieces. Assembly was a bit tough - some things weren't well-labeled so we had to count and measure beforehand to make sure that we had everything. Minor issue in the long-run.Again, beautiful design, capable of adding a changing pad on top (smart for smaller rooms, we probably should have considered), and plenty of room for many pieces of children's clothing. Less

The dresser is beautiful in espresso

I received this product in a nursery set giveaway. It is absolutely beautiful and has a lot of storage space. It did come with damage to the right side of the dresser that is only noticeable if the side is visible.Also damage to a corner of one of the dresser drawer panels, which is only noticeable if the drawer is open. The top of the dresser is a little hard to put on and does require some force. The overall texture of the wood is beautiful. It is a high quality dresser worth the price, just wish it didn’t have the damage, even if it doesn’t affect the sturdiness of the dresser. The shipping of the item was fast and the tracking information was on point for the dresser.
