Home depot sells identical Sleeves for $80 less

i would suggest you absolutely need this to install a through the wall unit. There may be other solutions, but it is hard to believe there is an easier one. I bought a Comfort Air air conditioner and decided to buy two sleeves, one Comfort air brand, and another sold by Home Depot for $80 less, just to compare. They were identical. I returned the Comfort Air model.

Worst install and assemble instructions…EVER

Worst instructions . The instructions include instructions for several sleeves. Once you figure out which one is for your sleeve - it gets worse. The angles on the photos are off , extra parts for winter but not explained - allot of guessing , even for the professional.

Dimensions Issue

Claimed the dimensions was 24 inches wide, but was in fact 25.5 inches wide. The sleeve is made for a 24 inch wide AC. This needs to be clearer.

Took a while to decipher instructions since there was a page for each possible brand, so came with more foam strips than needed. Not clear on how far to insert sleeve into wall.

Over-charged Environmental Fee

When purchased after buying my air conditioner I had to pay an additional environmental fee of $9.50 plus tax.

I would purchase from this company again!

Arrived as stated when purchased. Well packaged. Haven't installed yet as I'm waiting for the wall to be redone. I was pleased to find this on line as a "universal" sleeve for my air conditioner which did not come with one. When I tried to find the specific sleeve, no one had it in stock. This universal one was a wonderful find for us!

What i needed for my wall AC units.

Bought 2 of them for a new construction office space. They shipped separately so they were delivered a few days apart, but relatively on time. So far they are as expected, but i have not installed the AC units yet. I just need to make sure they are weather tight, but i am happy with the product.

Needed for 14,000 BTU through the wall air conditioners. Glad to know they were needed at the time of purchase for the air conditioners.

You have to put it together plenty of screws and instructions and it doesn’t look the best.
