two bolts in top totally blocked by drawers. drawers must be pulled out completely to access drilled holes. but no mention of this in directions, nor how to remove drawers.

Well-worth the purchase!

We bought this table as our entryway table and we love it. It's heavy and well- structured. I often get nervous about purchasing furniture items from Target or having to put things together due to leg lengths and wobbling table but this one is lovely. I can agree the color is slightly darker than pictured, but not bad. I was also taken aback by the would grain change on the table tops versus what the rest of the table grain looks like but I think that's grown on me. It has been well-worth the purchase.

I purchased this console over 2 years ago. I love the grayish green color that makes it versatile to move in any room and fit. I was disappointed that the pull out drawer-like features didn't really pull out far enough to really use it as a writing surface.

Was difficult to assemble since could not pull the top shelves out far enough to reach the back screw holes. Set of bottom drawers had a latch which meant they could come out all the way. Just ignored the top back screws. Seemed sturdy enough without them. Also had a noticeable flaw in front from poor paint job. Otherwise, it is very heavy and sturdy.

Good quality - but the color is off

The color is much colder - more a grey-brown than the caramel brown that's pictured. Besides that, the quality of the piece is excellent.

Darker than photo, but nice table...

The table is well-made for the price. It is definitely darker than the stock photo--the color is nothing like the photo and it's misleading. It has cool undertones of green, brown, black and gray. In an unlit room, looks like a cooler brown tone. The table was easy to assemble. Luckily, I read a previous review of this table somewhere and learned the trick to removing the top slide out shelves. There are 2 black tabs you have to press to remove the shelves entirely, which is necessary to do in order to fasten 2 screws to the sides of the table. Once you get that done, the rest is a piece of cake.

Well-Built Attractive Table

We love the size and sturdiness of this little table. We LOVE the finish, but it is definitely NOT what was pictured. So beware. We were actually pleasantly-surprised as it is darker and more "rustic" looking.

it arrived a little bit broken from the shipping. Otherwise, it is perfect. The color is darker in real life.

Wonderful little table, however...

The only problem is the pull out "cutting boards", for want of a better term, don't (as far as I could tell) come out. There is one screw hole that is covered by this pullout. There is NO way the provided allen wrench could be utilized to get to them. I used a ratcheting screw driver to get the screws in. Set came with an allen wrench "bit". It would take 3 times as long as it did to install the others as well using the supplied tool.

just a little flaw

This is a late review as the item was kept in its box for over six months. (The woes of household refurbishing...) But our handyman made no complaints about putting it together and it looks very nice. I like the simplicity of the design, the usefulness of the drawers and shelves, the modest depth that works easily in a cramped landing space (or a crowded dining room). My only complaint is that the shelves, when extended, display dark metal sides with exposed nuts and bolts. Trying for an "industrial" aesthetic, are we? Not working. I'm thinking a bit of complimentary wood stain might improve matters, or low-hanging plants if you're an over-reactor. But others may disagree, and in any event it is not a deal-breaker. I'm happy with my choice.
