Cute but a bit of a let down.

The grinder its self is so cute and feels great in the hand. However, the color celadon does not match the picture and looks quite muddy grey not grey green. Also it was less than half full of pepper, previously used? Disappointing for such a high dollar grinder.

Review of Peugeot Bali Font Cast Iron Pepper Mill 8cm Blue (P36621)

I love it BUT I would have thought Peugeot would have had a better solution to grind thickness than just turning the securing lid knob on top.

This pepper mill is 100 % metal. It's super heavy and hard to hold. It turns easily but gives out an incredibly small amount of very finely ground pepper, more like a dusting. I cannot use it. It doesn't look nice either, the colour in the photo is much brighter. I cannot recommend it.

Although the well of my beautiful pepper mill was a bit smaller than I'd anticipated, it grinds beautifully, and feels great in my hand. It is a fine addition to my kitchen arsenal!

Wonderful pepper mill. Love the heavy weight and delicate grinding. Better than wooden ones, cannot compare with plastic/ceramic ones. Need more colors and nob design. I bought two and I filled it with different pepper but no way to distinguish them

The is a beautiful art piece that is also quite functional. It has good weight and is easy open to fill with peppercorns. Easy to use too. Absolutely love it.

Celadon Green Pepper Grinder

It is beautiful and well made and grinds well. I like the design where the mechanism is set in deep enough so I can dust off any grounded pepper. Wished it was slightly bigger.

Looks great on the table!

This is exactly what I was hoping to find--a great quality small pepper grinder for the table that would look good with my heavy silver plate salt grinder. I love the black matte cast iron. It has an industrial look that really appeals. I ordered two more in blue-green and faded red as Christmas gifts. The included pepper corns were a nice surprise. I

The heftiest

I have a dumb amount of fancy pepper grinders (2), though this was a very intentional choice. This lil beauty is an excellent addition as ridiculous number three. I want to use it just for the action, it’s so good.

Great looking grinder with one caveat

Great looking pepper grinder. Looks and feels pretty hefty (in a good way). Not the most ergonomic thing since it's very short, but well worth the compromise for us. The grind size is easy to adjust too.

Great build, however it's difficult to grind pepper

This is solidly built. It is heavy and it takes much effort to turn the top and grind the pepper. The output is meager. I will continue to use in hopes that it will become easier to use. Perhaps when I try other peppercorns.

Nice table top feature but be aware….

It’s tiny and only contains ⅓ cup of peppercorns. The interior holding vessel is small. Pass on this even though it looks nice on the website.

Very weighty, which, for me,

Very weighty, which, for me, is a good thing, great looking, and grinds well- fine or coarse. Even though it is small in stature, it feels substantial in your hand. Bought this for a friend, but plan to buy one for myself after actually seeing it. It’s probably the best pepper-mill I have ever owned.

Very nice, little, blue cast

Very nice, little, blue cast iron pepper mill. It grinds nicely and does adjust to the size of grind.

High expectations mostly met

Don't love the sichuan pepper that was included, but will look forward to filling this with my own black peppercorns. It seems to work well, but the peppercorns are ... already mostly ground, so I'm still kind of unsure why they included them.

I love this sand cast iron mill. It feels great in my hand. Heavy weight. UNIQUE. Excellent quality and performance. Easy to use. Great style. I purchased three— one of each color!

Quality what I expected.

We have gone through quite a few pepper grinders but this is by far, the best! The pepper always comes out exactly how we want it ground. I love the size, weight and shape of the grinder. Looks good on the counter and especially with our dishes on the table. Worth the money!

beautiful & quality grinder-not color ordered

Food 52 -- you're batting low on my multiple item order - something off with 3 of 3 items. This grinder is not Peacock Blue. (review won't let me post photo) I ordered the Peacock Blue and received a very dark, almost black colored grinder. I still wish it was the color ordered, but in the world of complaints this is small potatoes. It is a very high quality cast piece, lovely design. As to the complaints in other reviews: it is adjustable by using the little nob that holds secures the top to the bottom of the grinder. And those complaining about pepper grinds after using, just give it a shake. This is an heirloom lifelong lasting grinder.

Nice color, the finish is nice and texture is great. Operates very well with large hands no problems what so ever! I actually prefer these over Isen pepper mill. I just recently purchased quite a few new peppers. I using this one for Timur Berry also known as Timut berry. My Isen for 3 pepper blend. Mortar and pestle work very well, but with so many new great peppers out there and everyone wants a different blend . Having multiple pepper mills works perfectly! And their smiles say everything.

I love Bali Fonte pepper mills ! The weight works perfectly with its size. I have large hands and the pepper mill worked flawlessly. I had reservations about it size in relationship to my hand but not anymore. I use it specifically for Voatsiperifery pepper. An amazing Pepper does a perfect job. I ordered two of these , which are my first Peugeot pepper mills. They both look and feel great ,nice finish, and nice texture too. Highly recommended.
