Works as expected

I bought a tub faucet kit and didn't realize the "innards" didn't come with it. I called the customer service number and the people I spoke with were amazing! They were able to direct me to the right person who knew exactly what I needed and helped me order it. I love shopping at Wayfair!

I would have given higher stars but the installation instructions were not as clear as they could have been regarding proper height to set the valve. This caused me to waste much time and figure it out.

Created an access panel by sawing an access panel in the bathroom cabinet to replace the 22 year old roman tub faucet and valve. The hardest part was getting the old plastic crimp connections off of the copper pipe. For the cold, the pipe was damaged and had to be cut back a little to attach the new crimp hoses to the water lines. Installing the valve and faucet was not difficult. I had originally called a plumber and thought I had to have an access hole cut in cultured marble, but from the side of the cabinet, the panel can be covered with maple plywood and is hidden from site unless the cabinet is opened.

I bought this because the faucet I bought listed this as the recommended valve, listed as 3 hole adjustable Roman tub rough-in valve. The plumber said he could not use this valve because it is specific for a sink, not a tub. I had to send it back and reschedule the install when a new valve was ready, waist of time and money. The product is good, just not what I needed. Do not buy if you need it for a bathtub!

Should have bought the American Standard.

I usually love Price Pfister products but this faucet is a royal pain. If I buy a faucet it should have all the parts necessary to put together. I hate building a working faucet out of kits. Do Not Buy. Find a complete faucet from another brand.
