With a different brand of bulbs, an older lighting fixture was flickering quite frequently. But with 1 of these bulbs (and 3 others), I think it only flickered once since I changed the bulb a couple of weeks ago.

good light - this is standard bulb base at 5 watt power. Very efficient bulb for not too demanding jobs.

[Rewarded Review] Quality non-dimmable warm white LED standard A light bulb from PHILIPS

These 40-watt equivalent LED warm white (2700k) are an almost exact replacement for the much less energy efficient 40-watt incandescent with the notable exception that these LED bulbs are NON-DIMMABLE. They produce 450 lumens of light using only 6.5 watts of electricity verses the 450 lumens produced by a 40-watt incandescent that will burn 40 watts of electricity. Another way to look at it: you can light 6x as many LED bulbs and produce 2700 lumens of light as 1 40-watt incandescent light bulb. Philips claims 10 years of life at 3 hours/day yet only covers them with a 3 year limited warranty. One would be hard pressed to distinguish a table lamp using this Philips 40-watt LED bulb verse another table lamp using a standard 40-watt incandescent bulb. The are made in China.
