Warm light

I like these bulbs. They don't have the greenish tint that others have.

All they sent me was a four pack, not a 16 pack

Perfect Overall Lightbulb for Home

Overall, good bulb. The warm glow feature is not quite as good as an actual halogen, but it's reasonably close.

Don't waste your time with the cheap EcoSmart bulbs or equivalent. We had an awful problem with bulbs flickering and finally bought these ones and the problem is gone. The warm light these bulbs put off is wonderful and they dim down super low. Highly recommend.

These are better than most LED lightbulbs. They emit light from the entire bulb, not just from the top, the way an incandescent light bulb does. (This looks better if it’s in a frosted glass lamp shade.) However, I suspect these are first generation products… the color is quite warm, and I would prefer a whiter color of light, like a halogen light bulb. there is no color temperature indicated on the package, but I think they are about 2700K. I’m hoping for a similar light bulb at 3000K.

The bulbs are very good, however the delivery by Home Depot and Fed EX is realy bad. Two packs of bulbs were tossed into a large box with no packageing and allowed to be tossed around during shippment breaking half the bulbs. My last Home Depot order arrived bent I assume during shipment because of pore packageming.

Great while they lasted

I installed the lights in a bedroom ceiling fixture. The lighting quality was superior. However, the lights started failing after about six months. By nine months, three of the lights were dim and the fourth was starting to fail. That's absolutely ridiculous for LED lights in a room that's not occupied most of the time.

Dimmable, Not 3-Way

The color of these Philips UltraDef LED 60w Frosted Soft White bulbs is nice, and the bulbs fit in my older lamps. I will be returning them, however, because they are dimmable rather than 3-way bulbs, which do not change brightness in my 3-way lamps.

they are very good in color quality. flicker is not detectable. they produce less heat because the leds are set in a filament like strip. Low heat means longer life, or so i hope.

The Philips 60-watt dimmable Eye Comfort Soft White with Warm Glow provides warm, beautiful light to your home. It really is the best light bulb to contribute to the beauty and comfort of your surroundings. I have been using this particular light bulb for a couple of years, and no other bulb can compare.

Okay, But Harsh

These bulbs put out a harsh light, and make my eyes feel stressed out. They're okay for a room that I'm not staying in for long, like a laundry room or a bathroom, but I don't plan on buying any more. My advice is, buy only 1 pack the first time you buy them, to see if you like them or not. They're "okay" just not for my sensitive eyes. Too glary. Please note I do have abnormally sensitive eyes.

They were smashed into little pieces when they arrived. I had to go to the actual store to return the product.

I replaced previously ordered daylight bulbs that I did not like with the warm glow bulbs, and the light they provide is perfect.

1 star for Philips zero for walmart

I ordered 2x 16 packs of lightbulbs and I received 2x 4 packs of lightbulbs. Called Walmart they sent replacements guaranteed they’d be the right two boxes of 16 bulbs and I received 2 boxes of 4 bulbs. Wasted another half an hour on the phone and now instead of my light bulbs they’re issuing me a refund and for me to re-order lightbulbs . With a promise that they would get it right this time . so two days go by no email no refund no nothing so I called again this morning and whoever I spoke to said they never even initiated the refund when I talk to them last. I bet I will be calling them again in three days because I get two boxes of for lightbulbs just like the first time and the replacement time. oh and who ships lightbulbs in a bubble envelope I’m surprised that they didn’t all get broken.

Failed Pretty Quickly

I really liked these - all glass design, very high CRI and I’ve had great luck with Philips bulbs in the past. Unfortunately, right after the return window closed, one of the four started flickering badly and color temp keeps changing. Paid more because I thought they would be higher quality.

These bulbs seem to have eliminated any light flicker we had when dimmed.
