So easily broken

We bought a large Zampa playpen second hand on 7/20. It had only been used twice previously and had no damage to it. We made sure we got my dog used to the playpen before he was in it home alone. Today, we left for twenty minutes and put him in the playpen. When we came back, he had already scratched his way out. The company claims this is made out of durable material, but it definitely is not. I would never buy this again, let alone at full price. The return and exchanges policy is not great either. The item must not be used in order to return it. They only cover manufacturer defects and only for a limited time. Please save your money and do not buy this.

Not very stable at all for indoor use. Maybe with the anchors in place while using it outside it may be better but 9 puppies and a female dog about 50 lbs had no problem knocking it over when the pushed on a side; making the entire assembly collapse.

Sturdy and well designed

This has been perfect for our new puppy. It’s very well made. We leave the top open when he’s in the playpen while we’re here, and zip the top closed when we have to leave him alone.

Great way to introduce kittens to senior cat

I adopted 2 kittens and needed to keep them separated from my senior cat for 2 weeks. The playpen allowed them to see each other, get used to each other, while provided a safe space for them to eat and sleep. The playpen is sturdy and I keep it in the living room in case they get too rowdy lol. There are two zipper entrances, one on each side so they can use it to play through.

Did not hold up. My dog bent it the second day. She also chewed the zipper loose. I specifically bought this because it said it was a better made pen, especially for chewers.

Spacious comfy

A great size for my kitten even when she grows up. I do not know yet how durable it is as we only used it once but it is big enough to give plenty of play space and make your pet comfy. On a pricier side unfortunately.

I love this overall. 4 stars instead of 5 because there are some things that could make it more awesome.

Love this!!

I bought the x-small for my chihuahua puppy to use when we are not home. It’s plenty of room for a potty pad, blanket and food/water bowls. I also love how easy it is to fold up and put in its carrying case when I take the puppy with me to work. Seems durable and works perfectly for what I need it to. I may upgrade the size when she’s fully grown. Very happy with it.

it doesn't hold up to anything above maybe 13 lbs.

I really wanted to like this to a point where after the first one broke, I immediately ordered a second one. On both, zippers gave out, puppy could tip it over. I've attempted to jerry rig it for continued use, no luck.She's now 9 months old and 22 lbs. She's supposedly a cockpoo and won't get much bigger. I do not recommend for dogs. maybe cats for an adoption show, or rabbits perhaps. Sadly, more for the landfill.

As we speak My. havanese is adjusting to her playpen and I will be making good use of this item for future traveling. The item is pretty sturdy and the material is very well made. I’m impress with this item and will recommend for either a small or med. size puppy.

Perfect find

This was exactly what I’ve been searching for. I ordered two one for each of my Dogs. We use them just for bed time. Sleeping with two 53Lb Pitt bulls was causing loss of sleep so this was the perfect find! I ordered the large so both my dogs would have a special house for sleeping where they could still stand and move around with comfort. They are both very well made and sturdy. The zippered door keeps them in so no sneaking out to try and jump on our bed. They seem to be very comfortable with all the bedding & blankets we placed in them. The large is pretty big so be sure you have enough space.

Playpen for a PUP

This is perfect ! Perfect size perfect fit in the room . I'm going to love it and I think my pup will too. I'm getting a small Yorkie and it will be the best fit and size for her little self . She is not here yet. To top it off it was a great price . Thank You

Great product. Dog approved.

My two little dogs 10 and 17 pounds have plenty of room with their beds and toys. Very easy to pop it open. Folding it closed was a lot more difficult, the video on the Zampa website was helpful. It is very well constructed and super convenient to take the dogs places.

Perfect place for a Puppy

We bought this puppy playpen a week ago and are so glad we did. When you can't always watch your puppy this is the perfect place for them. We have her blankets and toys in there and she is content. At first she cried a little, but now she welcomes being in there. It's a great place for her to take a nap. Great purchase.

Love it. Great quality.

Mine came in the mail yesterday. I set it up for my English bulldog last night and she absolutely loves it. I decided to try this instead of the metal crate at night. She has more wiggle room now and the walls are soft. It’s also easier for me to move around and travel with. The material is better quality than I expected. It’s more like a canvas than regular tent material. The size medium is perfect for my 55lb English bulldog.

Great pen!

Love this pen! It is strong and lightweight and I can move it wherever I need to with no problem. First time raising a puppy and this pen is really a lifesaver. My puppy is safe and has plenty of room to play. The zippered door is great for when I want to give him a little freedom. It’s a great pen!

Easy to set up, not so easy to fold up and put away

This is a great playpen, and was exactly what we needed while my dog Omar had to be on bedrest for a herniated disc in his back. I would have given it five stars but folding it back up was really challenging. We were two and had to do it over and over to get it right. Even watching a YouTube video didn't make it much easier. That being said, it's still a great playpen and we are very happy with it. Our cat even loves going in there sometimes to get away from it all :)

Just what we needed

With a new puppy we needed a place for him to go at night. A crate was too soon to use overnight. We put it next to our bed and wallah he took to it well. During the day we leave the door open so he can go in and out. We still use piddle pads to line the floor in case there is an accident as it is on carpet. The integrated floor is beneficial but we just took an extra precaution. We have a small dog and the size is just right for him. It folds up compactly in a nice case (you have to figure out which way to fold it). The only minor issue is the strap that goes around when storing it hangs down when open and he tries to chew it sometimes. Hopefully he will out grow that chewing desire.

Not as good as the prior version

I happily ordered this after using an older version in the larger size (measuring 56"x56"x24" H). That one was a bit too large for my apartment so I checked the listed measurements for the medium: 45"x45"x24" H. I was a little concerned with the height being 4" less but figured I'd make it work. I just set it up and as you'll see in my photos it's barely 39.5" in width...far from the listed 45". This is a huge disappointment and inconvenience being that it's 4th of July weekend and I needed it for my new kitten who is too small to be free in my apartment just yet. One of the zippers to the roll-up door also split as I was opening it. I hope this doesn't repeat as it would defeat the purpose of the playpen if it's not secure. I was ready to give this product 5 stars based on my experience with the other one but clearly the quality and reliability of the manufacturer have dropped significantly. That's really too bad because I had intended to keep this but I'll be returning it.
