Almost there

Love the design and it works well. Makes salt very fine but it is a plastic grinder not metal and I am not sure how long it will last. I have a Peugeot grinder that is much better and you can even choose the size of the salt or pepper added to it. Good product but not the best and the price tag is a bit high for the quality.

Piece Damaged

I bought the salt and pepper set today and was quite disappointed with the quality. The salt mill has visible scratches on the surface. It was supposed to be a gift for my sister, however will have to return it. Didn't expect this substandard quality from Le cruest.

Quality product

After a number of cheaper pepper grinders I now own a decent one. It’s easy to use and fill and, in my opinion, is definitely worth the higher cost as in the long term when I’ve owned it for years the cost will be negated. It will be more economic than having to throw out several that don’t work properly.

Le Creuset table style

I have a serious addiction to Le Creuset Salt and pepper mills. I am an interior designer and set beautiful tables for my clients and none are complete without these beautiful colourful salt and pepper mills.

Looks great, grinds well

I've eyed these up for years and finally bought a set. They look great and grind just fine and adjustably for me. Some of the interior bits that I'd have thought would be metal are plastic but overall happy and since I bought them on sale no complaints. I love the feel of them.

The perfect gift!

Bought for a friend as a gift after buying a salt and pepper set for myself. She commented on how gorgeous mine were, so she is going to love these! The green will match her kitchen perfectly. They work great and look beautiful. I am sure she will keep them for years to come.

Favourite present

Perfect look- easy to fill and use. It has a wonderful sturdy feel so no matter which cook in the house uses it, I am convinced it will last for a long time, unlike the Perspex one bought previous. Also, and most importantly my 3 year old granddaughter wants to keep them in her Disney Princess Castle! - the girl has great taste

Not what I expected

Wanted these for a while, had not handled them in person before purchase. I thought they were a heavier material and was disappointed at the light, plastic, cheap feel. I purchased online and accidentally tried to return at an outlet so settled for an exchange for the wood version, which for the price point, I am not happy with. There are heavier, more high quality grinders for this price point or less. I love Le Creuset products, but for me, this is a skip.

Most needed and desired

The handy usability of this shaker is amazing! I can set the grind to the size I wish and like a really bigger shape on vegetable and fruits.

Should learn to keep the faith

Had three attempts to make my first purchase resulting in various things going wrong, my faith started to fail badly. However, the purchase came through in the end (we should have made more allowance for Black Friday) and we were delighted with the product. So much so that we made a second purchase which went swimmingly.

Salt n pepper mill

Hi I bought this pepper mill along with the salt mill for my daughter, as she had heard me praise your products so much over the years. So of course I only felt it right to get her a set, they grind perfect each use, they look stylish and feel really nice to use. Definitely recommend them, she’s now bought cups cooking dishes and other items herself, I absolutely love your products and so does she thank you so much for making such great quality cookware.

Not as expected

They feel quite cheap in quality for the price I would not have expected this. Not up to the usual quality of the brand which is disappointing! They look very smart on the table and the pair match really well, but I have little confidence in the longevity of them. I will keep my receipt safe!

Somehow, any glass salt grinders would get broken, so I opted for something I thought would give a nice even grind and survive being dropped. There's a reason they sell covers for the bottoms of these. What a mess!!! Salt, especially , everywhere!!! I'm not going to fuss with covers. I got a little tray that I periodically empty into soup. They've survived the inevitable dropping, but absolutely not worth the price.

Just the little things which matter. Mine is a simple life where an elegant item or two such as LE CREUSET salt / pepper grinders are wonderful possessions.

Too small capacity, but works ok with a screw driver

I bought this thinking it was ceramic and was immediately disappointed, then I filled it and the salt came out completely fine, I tried adjusting it and couldn't get it to work and read another comment that you had to cut out the bar at the bottom. That luckily isn't necessary. You just need to loosen the screws at the bottom about 5 turns (they are rather long) and pull the gaurd put a little this allows the grinder to come down more, then loosen the top screw with the S or P on top to adjust the coarseness. It works fine now! All that considered I'd be happy with the dumb plastic, because they work and they are pretty BUT the capacity it extremely small, the tube doesn't expand into the wide part, making me extremely disappointed in the overall over priced product. I trusted Le Crueset to make something highly functional and well designed and this isn't it.

White Granite mills look and feel cheap

I recently purchased my first home and was looking forward to having this "perfect" addition to my kitchen. However, I was SEVERELY disappointed in the quality that the white "granite" had. I have used these mills on numerous occasions, and know how great they are. But when I took them out of the box, I immediately regretted my choice. The white granite ones do not even remotely feel the same as the other mills available. You can feel and see the seam of where the mills have been wrapped, and for that much money, I don't want it to look that cheap. I have cooked with the cookware, used the pots and dishes so I know the kind of quality they carry. However, the best way I can describe the white granite salt and pepper mill set is - looked and felt cheap.
