[Rewarded Review] A nice simple drain the simply works

What a nice simple sink drain. Install was a breeze with the included instructions that had nice clear pictures on how to install the drain and especially the gaskets. This is the perfect drain for someone that deals with a lot of hair going down the drain. A simple push down on the strainer/stop and it fully removes to get full access to the drain.

[Rewarded Review] Very Convenient

This is the first time that I have used a pop-up drain and will probably never use anything else. Much easier to install and use. It holds water as described, and with a pop - it drains. It also allows you to easily remove the drain for cleaning. My only complaint is that it is plastic and I'm not sure of it's durability.

Looked nice but pop up part made of plastic. A broken plastic pop up was the reason the drain was being replaced. Returned and bought a metal one.

We swapped this sink drain out to match our bathroom and current faucet and it worked wonderfully. Easy to install and the pop up drain works great. It took about 15 minutes to remove the old one which is what took the most time, this drain took about 10 minutes to install. I love how little upgrades like this can make such a difference! I am by no means plumbing-handy and this was easy for me.

Poor material as it encourages black gunk to grow

We loved the pop up drain until using it for a while. It removes easily for cleaning which it needs often. Black gunk grows both on the plug and the inserted drain pipe. It adds more work to cleaning the sink. The pop up part must be thoroughly cleaned at least every other week and the drain pipe will completely close off after a few months without fishing up the mess. Old hard plastic parts or metal parts require much less maintenance.

[Rewarded Review] Down the Drain

Doing a fixture update on the bathroom sink. Loved the color it went well with the yellow walls. The fact that it's a push down/popup seal is very nice no messing around with an out of date rod connected to another rod that always leaked and was tough to align. Also can pull the seal out without having to remove or screw out of the drain pipe. Easy to install with nice instructions. Will give any sink a more elegant look.

Not compatible with Vigo sink

This drain was recommended to go along with a sink purchased. Unfortunately it does not work with the sink purchased. If Lowes is going to suggest companion items to purchase it will be good to ensure they are actually compatible first.

Not thrilled that the insert is plastic hopefully it won’t break.

[Rewarded Review] Good quality pop-up drain with one concern...

Planning to install this bathroom sink pop-up drain with overflow in one of the sinks of my master bath. Came packaged nicely with instructions that are easy to understand. Per the instructions, the install looks very simple to do. I like that it has an anti-clogging strainer that is removable. The product in general feels very sturdy and I like the color! The only concern that I have is plumbers putty is not required for install. There is a foam ring that is used in its place. Unsure if this will suffice in preventing leaks and if it does prevent leaks, how long it will last before a leak occurs. Overall, good looking product. The quality seems good and it looks easy to install.

[Rewarded Review] Very Good Pop-up Drain

This is a push pop up drain assembly designed for sinks with overflow, but can be used with sinks with no overflow. It works great, push-to-close and push-to-open, pull up to remove the latch and have your p-trap cleaned. The entire assembly is made of ABS plastic with the cap and spring made of stainless steel. The push-in plug can be removed by pulling the umbrella up, which is handy for drain cleaning. The push button has a latch. The latch moves easily, and stays firm in place when pushed in or is out. Overall quality of the product is good and feels reliable. Installation was quick and easy. The rubber gaskets eliminate the need for a plumbing putty.

[Rewarded Review] easy drain replacement.

Over the years, I have found that these types of pop-up drains are superior to the normal lever type that actually restricts the flow of water from the sink catching hair and soap and slowing down or clogging the drain. This pop-up drain eliminates that situation. It accommodates sinks with an overflow drain and is quite easy to set up. Being plastic means no corrosion and installation doesn't require any tools. Just hand tighten the large bottom nut to secure.

This is a Perfect drain for bathroom Faucets that do not come with pull up tabs. This pop-up drain is a nice matte black material that is easy to install. It has an easy to use Push to open/push to close feature for opening and closing the drain.
