Just be aware it sheds a lot!

5 stars for size as it is oversized and makes for a great look. I am disappointed in how much this sheds when it’s washed and dried. I dried it on low and twice the lint trap was totally overrun with lint. I’ve attached a photo of the second time I cleaned the lint out. It does look nice, just wish it didn’t shed like crazy.

I love this bedspread and the way it fits perfectly however it is a mess! The lovely soft material sheds on everything I have washed it three times hoping that might help and each time I have to clean out my washing machine and empty the lint filter three times during the drying process because it is so full A few more washings and there will be nothing left of this bedspread! Very disappointing.

Be prepared for shedding

I was excited to see this bedspread in the navy color that I ordered. I put this on my bed and now I have tons of little all over my sheets and pillows. There's lint all over my floor. I took the spread off, shook it outside thinking it would help but it didn't. It's not like the thick spreads from years ago. This is very thin and flimsy. I'm afraid to wash it thinking I'm going to lose all the design. This is a very high maintenance spread. Only positive side is it's cotton. Now I have to completely strip my bed, wash everything, clean the floor again and hope for the best.

Soft and a little smaller than expected

I bought the king-size blue. The color is not like what it is in the picture. It is actually like a pale greenish gray. It is smaller than expected. I thought it would go to the floor all the way around the bed (head of bed the exception). That is not the case. It is super soft and cuddly and warm yet cool since it is 100% cotton.

Not a Fan

I purchased this bedspread because I Love the Color. It covers my bed well. It keeps we warm. But, this bedspread sheds...A Lot! Even after washing there are burgundy lint balls everywhere. I wish that I could return. It was not a good purchase for the money spent.

PerfectFit / Love my new bedspread

Just perfect. Love it. The color is exactly what I wanted. It is soft and comfy. I have been ordering a lot of things from OverStocked and so far I am very pleased. My daughter will be moving to a house soon, so I am sure we will be decorating with items from Overstocked.

I bought this in a sage color and it is exactly what I wanted. I am into antiques but I have a king bed so no Washington bed spread for me that would have been original, because they did not make kings back then. This spread is just as comfy as my grandmothers was. It reaches the floor all around my bed and plenty of upper material to cover pillows, my only regret is not getting the shams. I would recommend this to anyone it is a year round item, in the winter I will have a heaver blanket under the spread and it will still be to floor already checked.

Absolutely love this bedspread! I was hesitate at first as to the price, but upon reading the reviews, others had mentioned it was thicker than other chenille bedspreads. I figured I would spend the extra money and it was well worth it. The bedspread lays well on my king size bed and is long enough that I can cover my pillows with it without getting shams. There is plenty of coverage on the side and end of the bed. In previous reviews, there were some comments about the strong smell/odor, washer/dryer full of lint, and stray threads. Yes, they were all true but they were no problem at all with me. The smell washed out, the lint was removed and the couple stray threads were cut. I highly recommend this bedspread and I am actual thinking about getting more colors of it.
