Backordered infinity times

I ordered this in the polished nickel finish over a year ago and I continue to be notified that it is backordered and delayed an additional month every month. I would have chosen a different trim if I had known this would be such an issue, but now I have an entire shower that matches this missing piece and I cannot just order a different item. Why is something being sold that has no stock, anywhere, for over 12 months?? Build.com is also refusing to allow me to return the matching diverter because it is already installed, but they cannot supply the matching piece so why would I keep this diverter??

Looks good and good quality, as expected with a Kohler product. A bit small compared to other shower knobs. The other piece required in order for the faucet to operate properly makes things quite pricey. I like it, but can't say that it is worth the cost.

Beautiful finish. Get the correct rough in. We needed three faucets for one simple shower. Kohler is a pain to install. But the finished product is very nice.
