Great Assist with 30yr old toilet.

Near 30yr old American Standard toilet needed new flush handle so that lid would quit pushing on the water tank. Online request for assistance was answered promptly with needed part number. Online ordering, costs and timely shipment exceeded expectation.

Works, Still Difficult

Rating only the product, I’ve selected 3 stars. While it does work, it is very difficult to push down and must be held done for a second or two to complete the flush. I’ve also replaced the flapper in hopes that it would be easier. Since having the toilet installed, it has always been difficult to flush. I’m wondering if it may have been a manufacturing/design flaw in the tank itself?

Exact fit part and seems like solid quality. The handle piece broke off our previous lever and this assembly was an easy swap

This was the wrong lever but the customer service rep did all she could to get us one that would work. Great follow up and customer satisfaction for her.

Arm gets stuck on inside wall of tank

I bought this handle to replace the one in my 20 yes old builder grade American Standard toilet. The arm for the chain broke. This replacement I received handle fits the tank opening better than the generics, but the arm is too curved and get stuck on inside tank. It leaves the flap open if you don't pull handle up manually after flushing.

This handle is flimsy compared to the handle it replaced. The handle also hangs at a screwy angle on the outside of the tank even though it was installed correctly. I expect it will not last as long as the one it replaces.
