SO happy to have genuine American Standard part!

I was so pleased to finally have the correct toilet handle for the unique shaped tank I have. It is not only a perfect match angle & color-wise, it is such an improvement over the regular hardware store versions. Worth the higher price!

Doesnt work

This handle is not working. I have an old toilet and have not been able to get a handle that works. I tried a couple from Home Depot that didnt work. I paid almost $30 to order this one from this manufacturer and the handle just spins. I don't know how to fix this issue but its REALLY frustrating!

The product worked fine. My disappointment is that the enclosed packing slip listed the price at less than half of what I paid for it.

Cheaply made part

Why can’t they make this more heavy duty? This is the second one I have had buy in the last five years. Certainly not American standard quality.

So far so good. The last one didn’t last long . . . so . . . I’ll reserve an excellent rating until so time goes by.

If this part was from American Standard it wasn't a very good fit for the part that goes through the tank wall. It was too small and did not make a snug fir. Fortunately I was able to tighten the nut down tight enough so it did not move back and forth when I push down on the handle.

Very cheap

I have went through about 6 in 4 years. Can’t buy at local hardware. Plastic very poor.

Handle Replacement

I did have a challenge getting to the website, but was helped by a person at American Standard,who was very helpful. I have to replace these handles in toilets about every three years, since they are made of plastic. I hope to replace these toilets since they are old.

Customer service had to tell me what part I needed after they figured out what model I had. Well, it fit like a charm, easy install, no issues at all!

Poor design, always breaks after about 2 years.

Well, the new part is fine for now. However, the design is still bad. It has a very weak point -- right where it actually needs to be the strongest -- so it breaks after about 2 years of use. (I suppose that's on purpose, to sell more replacement parts. What a shame.)

It was the only one that would fit my tank after returning 3 that wouldn't fit. BUT it doesn't tighten down to the tank. AND the plastic around the handle has already broke and the handle flips all over.

Piece arrived in a smashed box, half falling out of the carton. It fits and was easy to install but is very loose and light weight. Doesn’t have the same feel to the flush lever as previous piece. Feels like a cheap plastic replacement that I could have just purchased at a big box store. I expected better quality from buying brand name.

I made the flush lever work by heating it up with my heat gun and bending it. I don't know if they make a 45 degree flush lever, but that is closer to what I need for my toilet. But I got it working after my modification.
