Pretty good, especially considering it's a Kohler

I'm not really a fan of Kohler but this is the faucet that the customer selected and I have to admit that it was pretty nice. It was simple, easy to install and seemed like good quality.

Very nice faucets and it seems to have stopped the incessant drip, drip, drip from my old faucets. I have always trusted Kohler, especially after a problem with a Kohler shower head that was five years old where the sent me the replacement part, no questions, asked. If you want good plumbing supplies Kohler is always a safe bet.

Excellent bathroom faucet.

This Kohler bathroom faucet looks great in our recent bathroom remodel. Its form and function are expected Kohler quality, and the installation was easy enough for the intermediate-level DIY'er.

300 characters max for this review. Faucets had bad flow. Unable to replace just the aerator inserts b/c were wedged in too-small housings. Replaced with new whole-unit aerators, now work well. For nearly $90 each ($265 for 3), I had to spend $15 more to make them right. I’m not impressed, Kohler.

this faucet is a good replacement for the one that needed replacement. However the plumber had to return due to the fact that the upper portion of the faucet was not tight enough and water began seeping out from the top. It appears that the manufacturer had not tightened it enough. This ended up costing me a second service call. It is not working properly.

One disadvantage of this is it does come with a matching pop-up and since brushed chrome is fairly unique, your current pop-up probably won't match. You should probably order the one with the pop-up unless you have no plans to replace the pop-up. Since that was what was leaking in my house, it made this faucet rather useless so we had to get a non-matching pop-up. I recommend it only if you don't want to replace the pop-up.

Works & Looks Great!

I was specifically looking for a single handle bathroom faucet and was surprised to find there are not many options on the market. This faucet was not my lowest priced option, but was still reasonably priced given the excellent customer reviews. I purchased and had 4 faucets installed. They look really nice and clean up easily. The water flow is also very good. The only negative that may bother some people concerns the multiple handle position options when shutting off- you have to be intentional if you want the handle in perfect alignment with the faucet when the water is shut off. This is certainly not a big deal to me and but may require some shutoff retraining in some homes where this is important. Thank you Kohler for being an American based company that is concerned with making a high quality/ reasonably priced product.

Direct replacement faucet

Has a local handyman do the replacement due to the close quarters in the cabinet under the sink. Everything worked out well. Kohler is a great product and the sale price was a good reduction.

Product differs from picture -- throat plate

I studied the image carefully and purchased believing there was no "throat plate" (plate from the base leading to the spout, underneath). Why dont I want a throat plate? Water, soap and calcium gets trapped in the recess between the plate and the rest of the body (a fingernail can fit), and the area near the sink typically results in corrosion where the body and plate parts meet. At least, that is my experience with other faucets. Expecting the same with this one. I am debating return or installing and keeping for a warranty return for when corrosion will occur. A throat plate is usually used on cheaper faucets to make installing the internal piping easier in the factory, but compromises finish durability because water stays in the seams and cant be cleaned. Shame. It appeared to be exactly what I was looking for.

Excellent Choice

Was pretty easy to install. Replaced Moen faucet that started to leak after 8 years. Handle is easy to move up and down, a bit harder from side to side. Had it for 4 months now, and no issues so far. I like that is is a little higher than my old faucet. A bit expensive, but feels like a you are paying more for a quality item. Ordering another one for a second bathroom.

develops same bubbles in chrome as cheap Glacier Bay

The entire back surface of the faucet body got the same bubbles in the chrome as cheapo faucets - bottom edges were worse. I will admit that the handle movement felt expensive and high end, but it's not worth 3x the price if it's not going to last. "Kohler" doesn't mean what it used to in faucets.

easy to install; works well; handle feel is soft

Bought this unit as a direct replacement for one we had for over 10 years. The sink and vanity unit were starting to wear, and we thought it smart to replace the faucet at the same time. The existing faucet outlasted the other items, so the replacement faucet will probably do as well, and we were very satisfied with the old unit.

you need the room

Bought for a remodel. After install noticed the drain lever on top would hit the back splash on the sink top. The lever goes inside the faucet at a 90 degree angle. Only way it would work is if you dropped the button top all the way down to the top of the faucet base. That made it hard to access especially with wet hands. When buying make sure you have at least 3 to 3.5 inches from back splash to faucet. I switched out an older Delta with the Kohler. Very smooth operation on the Kohler. I like it just to bad it did not work where I wanted it to.

Easy to install, very smooth operating and elegant styling.

Having had excellent experience with Kohler in the past regarding the quality of their products and their excellent customer service, I decided to look for another Kohler product when my bathroom faucet (not a Kohler product) developed a leak. Not only was it very easy to install with basic household tools, but the control arm operates so smoothly as compared with the stiff action of so many other products out there in the market, which makes it easy to regulate the volume of water as well as the temperature. It also looks quite elegant. Kohler will always be my first choice whenever I look for such products in the future.

Wrong Info

Picked this out to go with our single hole basin. Web site description was wrong, it can't be used for single hole sinks. Had to return and order a different model. Faucet is probably fine, but Home Depot web site was misleading.
