Great shower curtain rod
This curtain rod was just what we were looking for. It was easy enough to cut to fit a 58.5" wide shower. It is very sturdy and looks great.
Get a 1" pipe cutter for copper and thin conduit....
Get a 1" pipe cutter for copper and thin conduit. Cut this to size. And it will be the best shower rod you ever used. Forget about all the other tension rods.

The bar was fine, though it was not clear what "adjustable" meant or just how much adjustability there was. Turns out that it was too long for my shower alcove, but a little work with a coping saw and miter box took care of that problem. Now it is installed and looks great.

I had this item shipped to my local Home Depot. The box seemed to be taped as if it was opened shipment. To my amazement when I got home, the curtain rod is missing one end of the rod. I expected quality control in the shipment process. Now what?
