After listing that they had 7 in stock. A few days later they notified that the item was actually OUT OF STOCK. Cancelled my order and did not charge me. Was frustrating since I needed the part for my shower. Had to go to your competitors site and received it in two days.

Unfortunately Ive had to replace a couple of these. One of them failed after only one year. The rest of the Rohl faucet is excellent. Apparently you have to be very careful when tightening the handle onto this intermediate assembly because with a little to much torque and the plastic receiver (with the built in brass nut) snaps right off. This is with hand tightening and it still has snapped. It is amazing to me that such a delicate piece of plastic is installed in such a pricey faucet. Bottom line: beware when tightening that loose handle.

OEM part at a fraction of the cost from the mfg. Good news is that this works great. Bad news if that what you pay for a Rohl shower system you shouldn't have to deal with $20+ dollar plastic parts. That has nothing to do with this item or the seller, rather my decision to buy Rohl. When they say ALL brass construction, it appears they mean external / visible parts... lesson learned.

This fixed my mother in law's 20 some year old DANFOSS TEMPRESS II shower valve lever. The shower valve and escutcheon were an older model so I didn't need the "extra flange" that came with it (see pics). My hub was fixed to the metal escutcheon with the "c" clip. What a life saver. I didn't have to replace the entire valve cartridge. I know that is what a plumber would have said you need to do!!!! Thanks Home Essentials Direct!

This is an identical replacement for a poorly designed part. The whole weight and torque of the shower faucet handle is dependent upon a tiny bit of plastic. Not a very smart design from the end user's perspective. File this under Designed Obsolescence. I expect it to have about the same level of reliability and lifetime as the part it is replacing, which means I'll probably have to buy another one of these again in the not too distant future.

Just by chance I went to Home Essentials Direct and there it was!!!! To say I was shocked was an understatement and my husband said oh you won't find this on Home Essentials Direct. HA All our bathrooms have this same Rohl shower faucets. When the handle came off in my hand I really didn't know if it could be fixed. I was beyond thrilled to find this on Home Essentials Direct as my husband looked on the Rohl site and could not find the part so I got bonus points for finding it on Home Essentials Direct.
