The item was not in working order, it did not come with the hanging bracket. I got ripped off.

The speaker itself is great, sounds good. The 4 star was because it came with a few dents. I was offered to return it. But tested it and the sound is fine so I decided to keep it.

Speakers sound great with my sonos amp. Having a separate subwoofer is necessary in order to have the perfect balanced sound. Otherwise, is just a speaker.

Polk Audio Atrium 8's vs Sonance

I replaced some Sonance Mariner 64's with these because of the good reports on bass on these Polks. They are better. I played them side by side, you can hear lots more definition in the sounds especially in the percussion. Bass is better, not perfect but maybe I am asking too much of an outdoor speaker. They are large so be ready for that. Am I happy? Yes!

I hooked mine up the the new 250w per channel sonos amp and wow they sound great they will fill any yard I have 2 set up as a left and right

Garage Install

I had Polk Audio Bookshelf Speakers years ago and needed something to install in my garage. I looked at both Polk Audio and another brand that was getting good reviews. I went with a pair of Polk Audio Atrium 8SDI's. I could not be happier. I am powering the pair with a Sony STR-DH190 and have sound that makes my days in the garage much happier. The Balance of treble and base is perfect for what I need. If you are looking for a pair of speakers that you can mount out of the way that put out an excellent sound for the money, get these. You cant go wrong.

Put Atrium 5’s at the last house, were fantastic, but left wanting a bit more bass. These are great at the new place, no complaints. They are a bit bigger but work perfectly for our space. If you have the room, would highly recommend.
