This drain stopper is a must buy for Duravit sinks. It's beautiful (as is most Duravit stuff), however it gets 4 stars due to the high cost for such a mundane part. We have 4 Duravit sinks in our house and these drains are a must if you expect them to work properly. The design of the slope in the sink just wont allow most other drain stoppers to function correct. Last would be great if Duravit offered the stopper in black to match other black accessories.

Fantastic, absolutely awesome hardware. Excellent quality. Needed a push-open pop up drain to fit my Duravit sink (Starck 2 washbasin) and this is perfect. I really do wish it came with installation instructions, but in spite of that fact and our being plumbing-phobic, we managed to get it installed very successfully with a little common sense. It does work a little differently than most American drains in that there's no metal tube that passes through the drain hole from top to bottom of the sink. There really is a gap where just the screw lives. But that's also where the overflow water enters the drain. So yes, this is indeed for an overflow sink. And yes, it does come with a 1-1/4" extension pipe that attaches at the bottom of the drain. Just attach your P-trap to it. To install you will need a 4mm Allen wrench. If you're buying one for this job I'd get a T-handled wrench so you'll have enough of both leverage and reach. The finish on these parts is stunning and the pop up action is lovely. Highly recommend for Duravit sinks.
Does not fit the Duravit Bidet
This was purchased to fit a Duravit Bidet and had to go back because it was too large. I ordered the push open drain after ordering the bidet from Build and discussing what it was for with all of the item numbers. This was the recommendation after being on hold for a few minutes. Build was good about refunding, but it was time consuming

Purchased this after realizing that a standard drain assembly wouldn't work for us. We have a sink that has two faucets but only one drain and the standard arm assembly doesn't reach. This fit our duravit sink perfectly and works very well with smooth operation. I only wish that duravit would provide detailed installation instructions so I could be sure I was installing it properly.
