Thicker is better for many pizzas

Pizza steel is great. We like the thickness because we make more than one pizza in one sitting. Thick steel retains more heat which transfers to dough nicely. Got to give it 5 minutes to heat back up after previous pizza. Took 7 minutes to cook pizza at 550 F.

Much better than a pizza stone.

I wish I had switched to a pizza steel years ago.

Pizza steel

Bought this for a small convection oven to regulate temperature after opening the door. Does a great job of retaining heat. Stays warm long after I shut the oven down.

Perfect pizzas

This really makes professional pizzas the only issue the finger holes need to be deburred and could be a bit bigger. This does not effect baking. Crust of frozen and hand tossed come out crisp all the way to the center. This is the perfect size.

Very heavy (28 lbs), but cooks pizzas excellent with a crispy brown bottom. Since it is nearly the same size as my convection oven there no possibility that the pizza will slide off when putting it into the oven.

So far so good

I just received mine from FedEx today...it is remarkably heavy. It feels very durable. The coating looks like typical cast iron pre-seasoning. The listing says it has no chemicals and from what I can tell it is not ptfe or pfoa. I have not used it in the oven yet, but I plan to soon. I can already tell that it will hold heat perfectly for my artisan loaves and pizza crusts...can't wait to use it.

Makes delicious Pizza

I was about to get a pizza stone but hearing that they could crack I decided to try the pizza steel and found this one on Vevor. It took a few tries to find the right height to position it in my oven but now it just browns and crisps the crust while cooking the cheese and toppings at the same time. I have recommended this steel to my family and friends as it has worked great in my oven.

Unbelievable Value and Quality

The unit arrived preseasoned and perfectly packaged. The quality is shockingly good in that a 3/8” steel of this size from other manufacturers would cost three times as much if not more. A pizza steel is a simple thing but the thicker the better for pizza and this is the best that money can buy whilst still being able to lift and handle the product as it is incredibly heavy. This unit shipped to your house costs as much as the shipping charge alone on similar products. Must buy for the home pizza chef.
