its more gold looking than the image on the add, which is actually better since I feel it will be easier to match with a brass finished handset. looks good very solid, ill update once its installed.

Disappointed but hopeful.

The door knocker design is beautiful in and of itself. It feels great in the hand and is a simple, clean design. Unfortunately, the one I received is not well balanced and doesn't hang straight from the part that attaches to the door. The strike plate came with an ordinary screw which should be brass as well. I'm returning the piece with the hope that it will be replaced by a knocker that is properly forged. I worry that all the knockers from this manufacturer might all have the same problem. The service department handling the return was not very helpful and I'm still waiting for a return label to return it. I expected a quick and satisfactory resolution of this transaction and I'm very disappointed with the service.
