Weber covers work best for weber grills

I bought this with a Kettle for my son as a Christmas gift. If you're planning on your grill lasting you'll need to keep it covered. I've always had good luck with Weber covers. They're made to fit nicely and are a great balance between being sturdy and dependable and light and easy to put on and remove. Take care of your grill and keep it wrapped up.

The cover for a 22" charcoal grill

I am specifically addressing the cover and not the grill. I purchased a 22" Kettle Grill and the cover the very same day. After using both products for about a month now, the grill is remarkable, however, I am extremely disappointed with the cover. It has only one tie to keep it in place. I fail to understand the reason the Weber designers did not place, at a minimum, two ties, one at each wheel or even more effective three ties, one at each wheel and one at the base leg. There is enough excess tie material one the one tie attached to the cover to easily make the second. Come on Weber, what is the reason you are being so cheap on the cover ties especially for the price you charge for the cover.

It Is What It Is. A Grill Cover.

It fits perfectly. Although, like everything Weber, it's a not reasonably overpriced. You can find non-Weber versions online that work just as well for half the price. I'm not giving it a 5 star review is because it picks up dirt very easily and doesn't like to come completely clean when wiped down. It also seems to be constantly wrinkled. My other grill covers tended to smooth out over time, this one hasn't and I've had it for about a month.

We only buy Weber grills therefore we only buy Weber grill covers. Usually we get black and they look good for a while, but they definitely show dirt and pollen. We just got a new charcoal grill so this time I decided to get a gray cover. Hopefully it will stay clean longer . It looks very snazzy right now. I ordered mine on Amazon, but it was the same price as in store.highly recommend

Heavy duty, good quality & provides protection

Purchased the Weber grill cover to protect the Weber 22 inch Ace exclusive original Kettle Premium Charcoal Grill. Both were a birthday present and greatly appreciated. Ace Hardware thank you for selling quality products.

good piece of gear overall. Parts seem loose, ie, the main grill rack.

Very happy with our new Weber 22 inch grill. The color, a deep ocean blue ties into our patio decor. If there was one thing I would change is inadvertently ordering two (2) covers! Awesome product.

Disappointed

Disappointed. Quite a high price for a very flimsy cover. In the past the covers were far more substantive. This one flew away within 2 days. Waste of my money. Why was the change in weight of the covers made? And to charge close to $50??

Cover and Grill Still Like New After 3 Years

We keep our 22in Weber grill outside all year round. It's been through pouring rain, snow storms, and bird bombardament. Our grill and the cover still looks like new. The cover has blown off a couple of times due to my mistake of not securing the cover well enough with the velcro strap. The cover seems to stay on when I wrap the strap around a leg of the grill and through the wire grate that's between the wheels. We just had a really windy day yesterday and the cover stayed on.

Purchased for my son and my hubby. They both love it. It's hard to put together but they did it. It cooks faster than our original one which is a good thing. Love the lid holder. I actually used it last night and really like that is taller than old one. I would say we love it! Sturdy, greats are awesome.

Premium Gas Grill Cover for Weber

My old cover faded rather quickly and it was Webber made, too. It tore by accident and I had to get a new one. I poured through reviews and many covers until I found this one. If your grill cost a lot of money, spend money on a good cover. Otherwise, you'll have a rust bucket before you know it. The grill cover arrived quickly and was as described. The material is thick and well made. Im happy I found it. I highly recommend this cover.

Premium Gas Grill Cover for Weber

With no garage or shed where I live, I am reliant on tarps and covers, so I pay attention. Most show their true colors after juat one season. Usually by becoming brittle and cracking or having the retaining method fail and blowing off in the wind. With my cover having gone through it's first winter, it's proven itself. It has wide velcro straps that allow you to sinch the cover tight around the base of the grill. It never blew off the grill. Not even in heavy wind storms. The Weber brand cover I used did'nt hold as well and ca'nt make that claim. The material shows no signs of stiffening. The material seems just as pliable as when I put in on. There is no tearing or cracking. A basic cover is usually in tatters after just one season. After its first winter season, this cover -held up- as well as the name brand cover and -held on- better. All this at less than half the price. Yes, I'll say it's a good value,

Looks nice but won’t stay on grill

I surprised my husband with an ocean blue Webber 22” grill, this grill cover, and a chimney starter for our anniversary. This grill cover looks great and is made of a nice flexible material. However, the slightest bit of wind blows it off the grill! Yes, I am using the Velcro strap each and every time to attach the cover to the grid at the bottom of the grill and I still have had to retrieve it from the patio at least 12 times in only 10 weeks. It needs at least 2 or 3 Velcro straps in my opinion- this is no area to cut corners. Most annoying is when It blows off while it is raining and I have to wait for the grill and cover to dry before reattaching. What’s the point if it’s not doing it’s job?

Don't buy if you are in a remotely windy place

Every day I check this cover is either half off or on the ground when I come outside. The velcro is only on one side which isn't enough to hold it in place.

Check to see which one you will actually need

can't have the side tables up tp be able to use it like it shows in the cover package. Apparently you need the next size up that shows it with the side tables out. This is not like the older version's, so not sure it will last the way the older one did. It all depends on where you are located and how well you are able to store it, The storage bag seems useless to me, but will live without it. The securing velcro straps are okay, but not sure what else you would use, as in once again I can't use mine until the side tables are dropped down, of which one end has the ability to slide up and down without removing it from the frame. Its good, but is it really worth the 60 bucks?

Grill cover

The fit seems a little sloppy, the material too thin and really doesn’t need to be that long. Generic style covers seem as thin. The previous Weber branded cover that I had to replace had a better fit, heavier material and better length. Its length stopped at top of the wheels. On the positive side the built in ‘handle’ and light weight makes for easy removal. I’d rather have one that projects the quality of that product and reflective of Weber products.

Nice Cover

Wanted to go with the Weber branded cover even though they are a bit pricier but I wanted to be sure it would fit my new Weber Master Touch Grill which has a lid cover that protrudes from the side of the grill. It does fit nicely and extends down past the top of the wheels. (Master Touch grill has slightly taller wheels) I also like the handle at the top for quick easy removal. The vinyl material is thinner than I expected for a "Premium" cover but it does appear to be waterproof. Not sure how well it will hold up to the elements since it is still brand new. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the cover only comes with a single tether at the bottom. The cover also comes with a convenient storage pouch which is attached to the bottom of the cover by a strap made from the cover material. I customized my cover by cutting the storage pouch off of the bottom of the strap and then sewed some Velcro onto the strap for a second tether. Problem Solved ! (wife actually did the sewing...not complaining) Hope this helps.

I love Weber quality! I had purchased an inferior brand grill cover a couple of years ago, figuring I’d save a few bucks on something that would do the job almost as well as the Weber cover. Boy was I wrong! One afternoon I spotted my cheap grill cover across the yard, shredded. It gets a bit windy here but not *that* windy. Not to mention the grill was in a pretty sheltered spot. The cheap cover had succumbed to last summer’s brutal heat wave and become brittle over time, causing it to crack and finally split.
