Great flush if you like loud

Flushes completely but is fairly loud

Don’t waste your money on the 4142 toilet.

The American Standard 4142 rear discharge, power assist, standard height with elongated bowl toilet DOES NOT FLUSH. After several months of work by my contractor & several replacement tanks we have thrown out the toilet. (The return period had expired) It would take any where from 3 to 7 times flushing the toilet for the bowl to actually clear waste of any kind from the bowl. Water pressure, coming out of the pressure assist discharge hole, is very weak & the water in he bowl just swirls around. If you are looking for a toilet to waste water or you want to use as a yard ornament this toilet is the one for you!!!

We have 4 of these toilets. They are GREAT -- if you happen to hit a deer driving home, just load it in the car, bring it home, and flush it. That's (just about) how powerful a flush this tank/toilet gives. Somewhere around our house we have a plunger - but we have not used it in countless years. We use this tank with the extended-height toilet base (we are tall) and it is just a very great, comfortable combination.

Pressure assist “moose flusher” toilet

We have installed many American standard cadet pressure assist flushing toilets for many years in multiple homes. They never fail us, we don’t know where our plunger is, they are powerful enough to flush a dead moose!

Great Toilet, Great Vendor, very satisfied

American Standard Tall and Elongated Cadet toilet

This toilet makes a loud sound when it flushes. But it's worth it because it's such an efficient machine. I really like the way this toilet does its job.

Replacement toilet

Bought two of these toilets for replacements. The one’s that were in the house wouldn’t flush. These toilets have the power flush. When you flush the bowl is refreshed 99% of the time. Very seldom have we had to double flush.

I smile every time I flush it. The most forceful flush happens almost before you can take your finger off the lever. It is quick and does an excellent job. We joke when we here it flush, we say woosh! Well worth the money.
