I thought it would hold seed ascensions. Disappointed.

Nice and roomie for a cockatiel

Just received this new cage for my cockatiel nice roomie. Easy to assemble. Only complaint plastic perches. Horrible idea. I don't know what they were thinking manufacturer. Extremely hard to find replacement perches that a parrot can use in the cage.

Birdies love their cages but mom….

I like some things about this cage: the large door opening, the height of the cage, and built in seed/mess catcher. I don’t like the attachment of the wire cage to the base, the closing mechanism, and the difficulty of cleaning the bottom of the cage. The wire (top portion of the cage) is only held on by four plastic slits/clips so the entire bottom of the cage can fall off when lifting the cage up by the handle on top of cage. I remedied this by threading twist ties through the plastic slits and the bottom of the wire cage. The cage bottom is secure but cleaning the seed/mess catcher is now more difficult.

It’s the best birdcage going. Well designed. It’s just what I wanted.

Bird cage

Comes in flat box and hinged side walls open to lock into the big heavy cage bottom. Difficult to remove the cage enclosure for cleaning. The cage top clips into the side walls but is not securely fastened. Bottom rack is removable but not practical if bird droppings are in piles. We returned the cage at our local Petco store for full price refund. We paid shipping to Hawai’i.

Not Up To Par

The cage itself is a very flimsy metal, it bows when hung. There is only one door and it's so large that you have to be extremely careful your bird doesn't fly out when you need to open it.

I bought this for my parakeet. cleaning is a breeze.

A little disappointed.

The cage keeps our cockateil's droppings in but we are disappointed with the thin wire of the cage. We have a pet branch that we had in his previous cage but the wire in this cage is so thin that even the perches that came with the cage can speed the wire "bars" to bow out. The branch which we had secured in the old cage was just screwed in with just a washer and wing nut but in this new cage the bars cannot support it. I attached it with the wing nut THEN secured the other end with a clip on the outside clipping a wire and the other end of the branch.

It was a little bit difficult to assemble but we are enjoying the features of this cage and the bird loves it's new space

Love the seed catcher. Easy to maintain. Simple design blends in and almost disappears. A little pricey

egonomic bird cage for aging bird

My 27 year old cockatiel does not have the muscle tone anymore to move around well in his really big cage. The one I bought from this site really does the trick. It is easier for him to get to his food and water and the perches are adjustable for the heights he needs with his balancing issues. I like the wide door on the front for easy access. I only look for cages that have a pull out grill at the bottom for easy cleaning instead of disrupting the bird by having to take the cage apart to clean the bottom grill. THis is my second cage as the first one I bought was for my younger bird. I am glad for Prevue. I also bought a cage for my Parrot. A really big bird cage. I love it, the parrot loves it. Buy this product and you will be glad for it. I have owned birds for 27 years and these cages are perfect.

Clean and Easy

I bought two of these for my two small parrots. I like the company and I like the concept - easy to clean and assemble. It is, however, just a bit flimsy. The perches that come with it are plastic and therefore useless. However, that being said, it is very difficult to fit the size need that I have and very few come with the stand like this. I'm giving it a go.

We like the 18x18x24 Bird Cages...

It is a great size for our Cockatiels & Conure, plenty of room to add their feeders, bars & toys... !! We also use Pulleys to Raise to Cages up & out of the way during the Day. So the weight is manageable to lift~up & down fairly easily. Hope to Order thru you again when we need a New Cage or Two. Thanks...Aloha, Leola Adcock

Terrible cage

The cage is very cheaply made. The bars are flimsy and the corners don't stay together. There is a large gap where the two sides meet at the corner and I am going to return this as defective due to this hazard. The perches are very skinny and my cockatiel has a hard time sitting on them.
