Solidly made, but not easy to install when the door is not flat to the wall. If this deters those who are good at getting through other locks then this will be worth the extra labor.

Broke Quickly, Wouldn't Fix

Bought double cylinder version of this lock. After installation it worked fine for 6 months, then a cheap, cast, pot-metal part inside broke in half, rendering the lock unusable. Primeline refused to fix/replace it, because it failed more than a year after purchase. They didn't offer replacement parts. They just refer me to their 1 year warranty. I can accept a company standing by the explicit warranty terms. I can't accept them manufacturing such a cheap product that's designed to fail.

Adequate knockoff of much more expensive Segal lock.

It seems adequate, and installation was straightforward. Be careful to check the alignment of the lock body with the strike before drilling the installation holes. The package included only 4 short screws, enough to attach the strike, but 2 more are needed to fasten the cylinder backplate to the door. Not a serious problem, as any wood screws will do the job.

Disappointed that all four locks didn't come keyed alike. I tried very hard to order them that way. Called personally to make sure they would. Had trouble getting them keyed alike at the store. Took two tries to get it done. The person doing it was rude. My husband knew more about changing them. He just doesn't have the tools to do it.

Perfect fit and replacement for a virtually identical deadlock that is many years old and became unreliable. This new deadlock works perfectly and even the screw holes aligned well with the old unit.

Good security lock.

Put one on my sisters home works great. Needed a special lock on rear door as it has glass in I. Extra security with this lock.

Not happy

Easy to install, but the screw heads break-off with a manual screw driver with little torque on them and not in but half way. Screw were then difficult to get out. Had to remove the new lock and re-install my old lock.
