The Plymouth style handle set was a typically high quality product. The installation was a straight forward replacement for a previous Schlage lock set. All went smoothly until it came time to insert the snap cap over the lower handle bolt head. The cap had apparently arrived slightly damaged in the packaging. The circular beveled edge was bent inward, which made it difficult to pop it onto the bolt head. Otherwise, the lock works flawlessly. P.S. Love the Satin Nickel finish.

Product looks great and installation was fairly straightforward. The only reason it's not 5 stars is that no matter what I do, I can't get the bottom handle and exterior knob to be flush. It's close, but slightly askew.

With a one-inch sturdy deadbolt, one feels secure at home. The bright brass polish on the entire handset is quite attractive & appealing. Should last a long time!

Original lock set looked worn for the last few years. Don’t know why I waited but finally replaced it with the new lock set. Looks awesome and was so easy to install I couldn’t screw it up.

The lockset appears to be well made and functions well. The installation instructions were good and included helpful pictures. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the appearance. The lockset has been finished with a shiny topcoat that detracts from the overall appearance and is inconsistent with the "antique" style.

The color did not match what the picture looks like and wasnt compatible with the existing inside handle. Plus, I never received a receipt for my purchase so I am having difficulty returning the product

Front door replacement which had a Quikset installed by remodelers 5 years ago and finish was terrible. Schlage appears to be much better bright brass quality and looks to have a long life. With lifetime warranty, I feel it is very good quality.

Purchased this exact same front door entry handset 15 years ago and it served me extremely well. Living in South Florida with a western exposure the finish takes a UV beating day in & day out. After 15 years decided to replace the existing handset with the exact same one. My motto is: if something works why change.

The installation went very well. I still have to fill in paint or repaint because the Schlage Plymouth handleset has slightly different flanges. Overall we are very happy with our new front door set.

My Previous Schlage door was broken after 5 years. The new one was an easy installation. I especially liked the adjustable lower anchor that allowed me to reuse the previous hole.

a little high price, delivery inconsistent. Al, locksmith? at Santa Ana on McArthur store is very nice and good employee. He explained to me clearly what is good, helped me to select items and also rekeying all locks perfectly. Al should be employee of the week or the month.

Bought an antique glass front door and the original outside thumb mechanism no longer engaged the latch. It was simply worn out. I searched and searched for replacement, and was lucky enough to find the Plymouth front entry handle in matte black from Schlage. This is as close as I could get to the original. I am a complete novice at this type of work and this could not have been easier to remove and replace. I also bought the matching deadbolt lock and it was just as easy. All I have to do now is a little bit of sanding and some touchup painting and this project will be complete.

I’ll make it simple. You can’t beat Schlage handsets for two reasons: they are very attractive and they come with a lifetime warranty. Every lock in my home is a Schlage and I wouldn’t have anything else to secure my doors. Thank you Schlage for making an excellent product!

[Rewarded Review] Easy Install of Elegant Handleset

I had to replace and old faulty handset recently. This new Schlage handle set was the perfect choice. It fit all the old holes without any modifications. The bottom screw is on a slide to allow the height on the attachment to be adjusted both 2” or more. This allowed the handleset to match up perfectly with all my original door penetration.

I bought the same lock set 30 years ago. It was such a great lock set that it didn’t wear out for the 30 years I had it. So I called Schlage and they told me it had a lifetime warranty. So they sent me another one for free! You can’t buy anything better than that.
