[Rewarded Review] Very stylish!

I bought my first set for one of my entry doors almost 10 years ago- and it’s still going strong. I have replaced these a couple times , but never because they gave out or stopped working well. It was always a stylistic choice. They’re very high quality and they have tons of styles to choose from. They’re very high also have a wide range of price points from super affordable to fine quality, and even the fine quality is affordable. Great brand, great product, great price, and great selection - that about sums it up. Simple installation with easy to read/follow instructions also came with a couple templates for hardware placement.

This is not the right deadbolt for this front door lock that I ordered. Me and my husband spent several hours trying to put this door lock on. This deadbolt that was in the box doesn’t not fit this lock. Can use please send me a new door lock with all the right parts? I sent a picture of the inside to show how old and rusty it looks. It is not a new part for sure.

I’ve always had good luck with Schlage Products. I purchased this at Home Depot a month ago and just got around to installing it today.. All my expectations were met, and then some. Deadbolt has a very secure latching and attaching system.. Antique brass finish looks very durable for a high-quality Long lasting look. I am very happy with this purchase and would buy again.

Be prepared to drill or repackage

Make sure you check that the holes line up, doesn't come with anything to check alignment. It didn't match up with the previous Slange holes we had before, which required drilling through the door again

Had a new steel door installed and had planned on using my existing hardware. New door was predrilled and the holes were larger so my existing hardware didn't completely cover them. Bought Schlage because of its high quality. Gives a nice elegant look to the door and operates smoothly.

The color is entirely different from the picture. We ordered the Antique Brass which in the picture has a gold tone, we received a dark silver-looking piece. It's just misleading and very disappointing to cause this much hassle.

This company is amazing and easy to work with. I had bought this Addison handleset about a decade ago and overtime, the outside deadbolt lock had changed to a bronze color due to the sun exposure after a few years. Finally, just called them to discuss the issue and they sent out a new handleset fast due to their lifetime warranty. It was easy to switch out and install. I had heard they had change the finish material so this shouldn’t happen again, so we shall see in the next few years. Otherwise, the new handleset looks clean with simple elegance!

Instructions for installing was very good. I tried to switch the levers to a different orientation but couldn’t get one side of the handle off using the pin provided. So I kept the handle in the same orientation. It just won’t match the orientation of all the other handles in the house.

We have 4 identical Schlage handle sets 17 years old and all have worn interior parts. We were not the original owner, so no warranty. Hopefully, these will last as long. Installation wasn’t as good easy as the box proclaims, but I had installed in about an hour.
