Mismatched sets

Received 3 sets with the wood balusters today. I couldn't believe it when I opened the boxes. I ordered the square end balusters to fit into the routed holes in handrail and bottom. Some dummy put the beveled balusters in the kits so we now have to cut off about 3" on every baluster to make it work. Also, it is very poor quality wood full of knotholes. I should return it but that would be quite difficult for me.

The box it came in was completely destroyed. Luckily all the material that I needed was there!

No. The hand rail was crowned and the balusters were just randomly picked. Had we purchased in store we would have hand picked to our satisfaction.

Ordered 2 kits. One kit was missing the screws for the balusters.

The railing looks real nice when up, but getting the posts to sit in the little routed out squares on both of the top and bottom railings was nearly impossible! They simply would not cooperate as if the posts were different sizes. I ended up just nailing them on both sides to get the job done. However, it still took a good day to put each railing together. Now I just have to fill the gaps where the screws are on the top rail, but like I said, they look real nice anyway and will do the job.
