Very sturdy good wood

We bought this for our 47 year old son who has stage 4 lung cancer that spread to his hip. He always loved to rock on his old wooden rocking chair until it broke recently. For some reason he told us rocking helps with his pain a little. He’s about 250 pounds and had a hard time finding one that held that weight so happy to find this one. He was very happy with his new chair.

Junk

Bought the rocker set last summer two rockers and a table. The paint was off by summers end. One arm teat was already rotted wood is horrible. Not worth the money. They look like they’ve been around for years and I only put them outside last summer in June and this is how they look already a year later.

They are gorgeous and solid. One of the pair I bought is so stinking squeaky it’s not wildly pleasant to rock in it.

Broke

This is an accent chair that is barely used. Today a person who weighs 185lbs sat down and the chair seat slat cracked! Sadly I am past the 90 day return policy but cannot recommend this chair.

Teak wood splits

Beautiful chairs and easy to put together. In my research, missed the requirement to brush chairs with teak oil every three to four months or the wood will split. Return policy is within 90 days, our wood chairs had splits in the wood 98 days after delivery even though teak oil had been brushed on the chairs. Expensive chairs to have split wood.

balance/height

Guess that I have shopped at your store since it opened, many years ago. The last time I purched from you was about 6-months ago. At that time we bought a front door and storm door. It was a great purchase. The Walker Edison Rocking Chair wasn’t balanced right and even for my long legs started to hurt my already very bad back, because of bone cancer.. I am 83-years oldand want to find out if the chair can be returned or would it be able to be reimbursed. Any consideration would be greatly appreciated.

Sturdy with a gentle rock.

Just recently purchased this chair for our cabin. It is beautiful. Perfect for the porch and will probably move inside during the winter. My husband loves as is as the seat is deep. I will need a cushion as I am not very tall, however, I still really like the chair.
