Not Comfortable

While I know Haworth to be a great brand, I am disappointed in the comfort of this chair. It just feels like one great big piece of adjustable hard plastic. The chair was very easy to assemble with just three quick and easy steps. It rolls well but again, the seat cushion is not thick enough and the back and arms are just plain old hard plastic. I have adjusted the chair in every way possible but it simply is not comfortable.

Caveat Emptor

I was excited to receive my Breck chair as the story on the website was compelling to me. It is certainly comfortable, but not as much as the chair it was to replace. It really feels more like an occasional chair rather than a main office chair, which is what I needed it for. Some things, like the adjustable arms feel a little flimsy. In fairness, I am a 225 pound man so perhaps the Breck chair is better suited to someone smaller. Sadly, I did not hang on to the packaging so I cannot avail myself of the return policy. Probably a better idea to try it out rather than be seduced by an Instagram ad.

Very good so far

I love that I could adjust the chair exactly the way I wanted. It is quite comfortable. The pivoting arm rest gets a bit awkward when I want to pivot the chair to sit down. I cannot comment on durability as I have had it only about a month.

The Breck provides the perfect ergonomic solution for home offices!

I have been on site at the Haworth Toronto Showroom to measure this chair and use it during the course of a full day. This chair "packs a punch" in that there are many ergonomic and accessibility features in the chair esp for its price point. I have already recommended this chair for several of the female employees whose stature does not exceed 75th percentile for leg length (the seat pan is adjustable for women up to 5'6" in height) and I will be recommending this as a perfect and much needed solution for home offices again for up to 50th percentile males and 75th percentile females. Well done Haworth, maybe this chair will prevent people from buying cheap chairs with no ergonomic designs from retailers.

Terrible Chair

Not worth the money. Bought 2 of them for our home office and they uncomfortable. The lumbar support slide does not stay in place it slowly drifts down through the day and needs to be readjusted multiple times throughout the work day. The hydraulic on the one I use throughout the day already sinks and doesn’t stay where I set the chair height. I’m 6’2” 228 lbs the specs say the weight limit on this chair is 325 lbs. while my wife is fine with the seat depth she’s 5’5” I’m not. It feels too small for my size.

Happy Chair

Was looking for a good chair for my daughter who is 5 “2”. Did not wanted a very deep seat so that she remembers to sit correctly, so decided to buy this one. Most chairs are designed for bigger people, so thought this would fit a petite person.

Decent task chair

Seat depth is much shorter than I thought. I’m 5’7” and seat ends at a little longer than mid-thigh. It’s not as comfortable as the Steelcase chair I have.

Breck Office Chair

Uncomfortable, sadly.

I really wanted to love this chair, but unfortunately it didn't work out that way. After sitting on the chair for 3 days, my back and hips ached terribly. I'm petite so maybe that contributed (5'1", 110 lbs), but I have a foot rest, good desk, and no history of joint pain or body aches. The return was very easy and straightforward; the set-up was similarly very easy.

Beautiful and comfortable, and easy assembly

Very comfortable with good lumbar support. The blush color with snow base is beautiful. This was also the easiest chair to assemble - no nuts and bolts!

Nice Office Chair

Chair is very light. Set-up was a breeze. Chair cushion was very firm for the first several days but has soften up with daily use. Very happy with my purchase. I wish the cushion had a bit more padding and the arms went up and down but very pleased.
