We’ve been looking for a heavy duty potato slicer for big russet potatoes. This is the perfect slicer! Super heavy duty and built like a tank. Couldn’t be happier!

Durable vegetable dicer

This is NOT your typical light weight vegetable slicer-dicer! I have bought a few of the lighter ones only to have them break at a pivot point when applying enough pressure to dice up potatoes. It has the ability to easily slice large potatoes into French fry cuts, the unit comes with 5/8ths slice cutter, but other sizes available on line. You can dice potatoes by pre-slicing crosswise then putting potato in the French fry cutter configuration. Presto! Diced potatoes!

Good quality, after looking at many brands of this item, this was the best choice for me. It's well made and you have the choice of mounting it on the wall or using it on a flat surface. It will serve the purpose to make french fries.

Does not work

Cannot cut sweet potatoes into chips. Also, the half inch chip blades which may work better are not packaged with this product and are currently not available.

I gave it 4 stars because it takes a lot of effort to cut sweet potatoes.

Great french fry cutter

I had tried a couple of the plastic cutters previously, and I was not happy with them. Purchased the Weston model and am completely satisfied. Easily cuts the potatoes and disassembly is quick to allow for cleaning prior to storage. Wished I had just purchased the Weston first.

Misleading Product Ad: Not equipped as shown.

When deciding on which model to order, one of the main factors were that it came with 3 different cutting blade sizes. When it landed at home, it arrived with only 1 cutting blade. I went back to the Ad to review how it was represented & found that images show all 3 blades with no specific explanation that 2 of the blades are sold separately. This Ad is purposely misleading. I've reached out to Walmart in hope to resolve but am still waiting for an official response.
