Leaves dark stains

Kept our humidifier from having any slime or odor but it did leave dark mineral stains in the humidifier even with routine cleaning.

These work so well to keep humidifiers free from that yucky slime texture. I have very little maintenance cleaning on these humidifiers each week and it’s all because of the drop ins.

Great little product that definitely seems to help reduce the buildup of mineral deposits in my humidifier(s). I can keep mine in for around 25-30 before I need to do any cleaning, the filter also seems to last longer as well.

These are absolutely necessary, keeps water clean between cleaning tank and base.

Ruined humidifier

I liked it initially kept the water from having an odd smell but less than a month of use i opened to discover dark brown hard stains although no water was left in the tank. We used the humidifier several times over but I have never experienced this before. The humidifier is ruined and the only difference is this product.

I does what is advertised as to keeping the water clean. I use a new one every month and change the filter maybe every 2 months on my Honeywell humidifier. Home Depot has a good price and fast shipping or pick up! Thank you for carrying these.
