I like the look and the price was great. The only downside is it does not include a valve so if it’s something you need, I would consider a different model that includes it or you’ll need to purchase one separately.

I bought this set for an apartment bathroom because it looks good, my plumber likes the brand, and it's so reasonably priced I had to at least try it out. Plumbers like Delta and a couple of others because they're easy to install and maintain, and reportedly reliable as any. I am surprised and glad to see that it really is pretty in the stainless finish, and the main pieces - handle, trim plate, spout are actually brass, not plastic. The shower head appears to be brass-clad, though I'm not certain. It's certainly not plastic. I don't write many reviews, but I do read them before I buy, and I do see a lot of apparently fake ones. This review is for the buyer who really wanted to know how durable-seeming this kit's materials are, and I have to say, I'm impressed, especially for the price.

I'd never purposefully install the valve that requires this type of showerhead. The valve came with the house, and I have neither the energy nor the budget to have the valve removed. I do not need my temperature regulated for me, I am perfectly capable of adjusting a knob, thank you.

Very disappointed with head and flow.

I am not used to such a low flow when taking a shower. I was praying that I could find and remove a water flow restricter but I could not find it. This is in my master bathroom but now I am literally taking showers in another bathroom. The shower head is also terrible. It has very limited movement, it is very small and not made for a shower in a nice home. Calling it eco friendly should have given my plumber a hint. I was not looking for a cheap, low flow fixture without the ability to adjust the flow rate at all.

If you want true temperature control, the Delta is your answer. Our main floor bath has the laundry equipment on the opposite side of the shower wall. Someone can be showering, running the dishwasher and the washing machine and the person in the shower will have no clue anythings going on. They are easy to install (Full disclosure...I was once a licensed plumber), and when they finally die, $53 gets you a new set of guts that you swap in fifteen minutes. You have to buy the universal core separate from the trim and handle set. We like these and they won't make you feel robbed like some will.

I hate most one-handle shower controls that don't allow separate adjustment of flow rate and temperature. This one allows you to control flow rate with the main handle, but also includes a small lever that controls the temperature. All components of this set look nice with a pleasing brushed nickel finish. The shower head is medium-sized, not too big and not too small. Very pleased with this purchase.

I bought this Delta trim kit to use in conjunction with the R10000UBNX rough-in valve, which will supply water to my Delta R1827-XO Jetted Shower Rough-In with Extra Outlet 6 Setting. It's a very nice trim kit. However, what I don't like about it is that the temperature control knob turns whenever you turn the water volume know. I would rather have the temperature control knob stay in once place once set to the desired temperature.

Make sure NOT to buy the model T13020-SSDP with the "DP" at the end because those are for deep wall installations (even though there is nothing in the product description that says so. You can't install it if you have regular sized walls.) I like this product and would recommend it to anyone, BUT, in the future, I would probably get a Grohe or Hansgrohe as their mixers are more fluid while turning and robust and cleaner/modern looking, even though they cost three times as much. For something that you use everyday, it's totally worth it to go for a more quality product in my opinion! I have a shower head with hose that is right above this and the hose would at times move the mixer in a hotter direction to scald my manly, but beautiful skin. Enjoy!

Delta T13020-SS Monitor 13 Series Valve Trim Only, Stainless (yet its not just the trim onlyit has a cartridge. could you be clearer Delta?) Box contains the escutcheon, center ring, handle, cartridge, and necessary hardware. It does not contain the shower head, shower hear arm, or arm trim flangeeven though the pictures show these accessories. So, I look closer at my purchase and sure enough, there is a button to select trim and shower head. Yet, the arm and flange are still another $28 to $32. So let me get this straight. Someone would buy just a stainless-steel trim plate and not worry about a SS arm, shower head, or spigot? I do not see the handle and trim kit wearing to the point of replacement while the shower head and spigot remain usable. I would have been better off dollar wise to purchase a new shower valve, trim kit, cartridge, head, arm, and flange kit. But noI took maters into my own hands. I got out the Scotch Brite (red) and polished my chrome shower head, arm, and flange. It matches the new over-priced trim kit in SS just fine. No more $$$ for you Delta.

The irony of this handle having anti scalding technology is that when it is paired with the Delta shower head with a hose, when I use the handheld shower hose it often knocks into the Monitor handle and turned it. I had to turn my water heater down so that if it got hit to the hottest point by accident I wouldnt get scalded. If Delta believes this is a faulty Patty Im interested to hear. I just went and borrowed an Allen wrench from someone to try to tighten it even more but I still believe it turns too easily. This probably would not be a problem if you had a stationary shower head.

The color is beautiful but for some reason it all shows so many water spots. I purchased the bathroom faucet as well and it too holds onto water spots. Also, it’s reallt really hard to find other pieces to match this color so you’re kind of forced to buy the whole line (which I pretty much did). I wish They sold shower curtain rings, a shower curtain rod and counter top accessories for this line as well because the brass/gold color is just too hard to match with anything else that is out there for sale. Other than that.. it’s really great quality and I love the way it looks in my new bathroom !

We were rebuilding our shower and I wanted a new valve assembly that would control the volume of the water flow as well as the temperature. Delta has a great system by which you installed a basic valve body and can then purchase different “trim“ items to match the decor and function that you desire. I watched a “how to“ video on YouTube which helped me install the unit (I did not use a Plumber) since the enclosed instructions were not very clear. I would highly recommend this item I’m glad I spent the extra few dollars to get the functionality I really wanted

Hard to find a shower-only controller that will let you change the volume and temperature separately. Finally found this one, but the install directions made it sound like there was to be very little play in the temp adjustments - saying installers needed to inform clients that they might have to make seasonal changes to the settings, to account for varying temps in the cold water coming in. That set me on fire, but I was stuck at that point, having already installed the Delta controls behind the wall, so I went ahead and installed it, anyway.

I bought this set and Delta R10000-UNWS mixer for a bathroom remodel. The install of the in wall valve and the faucet/shower was fairly easy and straight forward. The functionality of this setup is excellent. I love that I can pre set the temp because this is in the shower that my kids use. All they have to do is turn the water on. No more hearing that it's too hot or too cold. Also the lever is easier for them to use than the old plastic "crystal" dial we used to have. My only complaint is the finish on this seems to show water spots really bad. We do have hard water but I do not get the same spots on our other fixtures. Because this is in the kids bathroom it's not a huge deal but I would not want to look at the spots in my shower every day

The shower head is nothing special, but the faucet is a winner. It has separate levers for temperature and volume. After waiting for the hot water to arrive through the house piping, you set the temperature lever once, and then you can forget it. If someone flushes the toilet or runs hot water in the sink while you're showering, the faucet automatically adjusts the temperature to protect you from scalding or chilling. You turn the water on and off with the volume lever (the big one). Next time you shower, the big lever is all you need; the temperature goes back to just where you set it last time. A very welcome invention. Not sure how it's done without electronics, but it's way ahead of conventional shower valves.

Love this shower set. Worth the extra money for me to have a separate temperature control. We've had it installed for about 7 months. My only complaint is that the installation screws in the escutcheon around the handle are not covered and it looks a bit unfinished. We have not used the shower head as we installed a lower flow one we already had. The handle/cartridge was a bit complicated to install, but have had no problems with it since installation. Disappointed that the tub filler and temp controls are plastic, but you can't tell by looking. I could not find any major brands that were all metal construction anyway.

Our home was built in 2003 and the existing shower trim says Delta 1400 Series. I figured this trim looks very much like the existing trim only it has a different handle to replace the dated looking glass ball knob which has outlived its purpose. I go to install it thinking it would be a breeze with the bonus of a brand new cartridge that should last us for several years only I hit a snag...a very avoidable snag if only Delta had placed more thought into it. The new cartridge does not match the old one in width at the point where you insert it into your valve body. The old one is wider by just a few inches meaning I either have to use it or get a new replacement cartridge. Why change cartridge dimensions like that and cause backward fit issues? If I use the old one it leaves me with another issue. The old one needs a longer sleeve to prevent a gap between the handle and the trim plate (pictured). Called Delta and they are sending me a longer sleeve that should fix the problem...I have had really good experiences calling their CS team. I always get someone rather quickly and they are based in the US. That is two HUGE ++ Delta! I wish all companies were as responsive as you.
