Works well

We have NJ well water that tastes bad without these filters. The water definitely tastes better and is hopefully cleaner. I just wish they'd last longer and weren't so expensive.

Love this filter!

Have been enjoying PUR for about a year now. The water tastes great! It lasts about 2- 3 months. Don’t ever discontinue it please ❤️

Love Pur Filters for my Pur Faucet Mount System

I’ve been using Pur filter replacements for years in my Pur Faucet Mount System. Hands down the best for making tap water palatable. I’ve never had but one issue over 15 years but a quick call to their customer support and problem solved. I’m not only helping our environment by not buying bottled water, I’m also not ingesting micro plastics. Did I mention my city tap water tastes crisp and fresh?

Pur Faucet Filter Replacement filter

Drinking water from facet taste good, after attaching Pur water filter system. It's easy and convenient, saves money because, no need to purchase bottle water. The filter is easily replaceable, and will signal when it needs to be replaced.

Great filter

Easy to use with the Pure water filter unit. Just open the unit pop out the old filter and then pop in the new one. Easy Peasy! We have city water which is gross tasting, but using the filter makes it taste like pure spring water.

Does great

My well water is awful even with whole house filters, and a water softener. This helps to purify our drinking water even more so. I just wish this filter wasn’t so expensive. The purchase price is my only complaint.

Easy to install

Easy to install. Easy to see when it's close to time to change it out when the light on the unit turns yellow. Red light and it's time to change. Water tastes great!

PUR filter

My water smells very chlorinated when it comes out of the tap. This is not very appetizing. I put this PUR filter on and the bleachy smell goes away. Makes better coffee. I wish it were not so hard to take the cap off to change the filter. I have arthritis and stuff like this is frustrating.

I love the pure water filter. Our water taste awful. But I put on the filter n it is better than bottled water n it comes right out of my water facet. Last about 3 month or more as I am in a one family household. My dog drinks filtered too. It’s great!!

Fishy smell won't go away

THREE times now I have bought a filter, installed it in the faucet mount, and run it for the prescribed 5 minutes. Water still smells fishy. I run for a total 10 minutes, still fishy. I run for 15 minutes, still fishy! And it also tastes fishy as well, obviously. $60 wasted on fishy filters, I am going to try the Brita faucet mount system and filters now.

There is no substitute for these filters.

There is no substitute for these filters. The original cleans the water without stripping it and the water tastes wonderful. I have tried ones that claim they are the same but they aren't at all. One even made me sick. So these are worth the money for me to have safe drinking water!

Works for me

These work for me. The pressure may be low/sputtery at first but you’re supposed to leave the tap running for several minutes to saturate the filter, then water pressure will increase. I’ve gone through about 5 filter cycles and haven’t had an issue. Hope it continues to work for me I live in LA and can notice a difference in how my stomach feels after drinking from this vs tap. Filters are pretty expensive, ends up being about $10-$15/month when i buy this pack

Once you start using Pur Plus Water Filters on your kitchen faucet, you will never do without them. Regular tap water (and our city has the best) is just not good enough. Coffee and tea tastes much better, too. We highly recommend the Pur filtration system. You have to initially buy the connector piece, which is not expensive, then you only need a replacement Pur filter every 6 months, approx.

Mrs

Originally They Were Good. I Got Replacement Filters Every One, Water SHOOTS Thru The Filter Splashing All Over. Taste Is Nasty. By The Speed At Which It Shoots Thru, It's Not Filtering Anything. Taste Is Nasty And It Says No Chlorine Taste. Well There's A Lot Of That. These Have Changed To Garbage. Zero Pitcher With Filters Is No Good Either. Water Still Tastes Nasty With Them Too. It's Not Filtering Chlorine And I Believe More. Worst Filter Ever. Even My Old Filter Worked Better Than The New One. Seriously.

PUR Filter RF99991 May Leak!

Have been using these in my RV for years without any problems. Recently purchased a new PUR filter. Inside the packing was a note from the manufacturer stating that "certain parts" have been deleted in the manufacturing process. A quick examination revealed the O-ring for the cartridge was deleted. After 6 months the filter assembly has now developed a leak due to the filter cartridge not sealing correctly in the housing! Apparently PUR decided to save a few pennies by deleting the O-ring. Stupid decision.

Still on the fence regarding this filter, you can definitely taste a difference in the filtered water, it is better. Our first filter lasted about 1 1/2 - 2 months, The second filter I zip tied the lever shut so it could not be utilized, and we were not using the filter, but bypassing with just free flowing water. and what we found was the filter still only lasted a month and a half. At this point I'm not sure how the battery is designed to work, but it shouldn't be counting down while I'm not using the filter for washing dishes. I'm going to give it one more shot.

Long Term Satisfied Customer!

In the late 1980' through the mid 1990' I sold "High Purity Filtration Products' to the electronics, pharmaceutical, medical (hospitals and laboratories that required sub-micron purity for the water and chemicals used. I learned about what differentiates a one filter from another and what filtration media was best on different elements , compounds and water.
