Doesn't warm up in any significant way

Really disappointed with the product. Barely heats up at the highest setting. I mean minimal heat. And the heating isn't even throughout the blanket. A spot will feel a little warm and it's cold right next to it.

This is turning out to be the blanket-throw from hell. I duplicated my previous purchase accidentally. I got a return label and returned the throw last Thursday. Surprise you sent me another one and it arrived today. Now I need another return label to send this one back unless you want me to keep it and not pay for it? Please advise!

A Must Have For Cold Winter Months!

The first thing I noticed about the Beautyrest Heated Electric Throw is how plush and super soft it is. It’s incredibly comfortable! The 60x70 size fits a queen size mattress perfectly. Also excellent as a throw for the couch or a lounge chair. The control is easy to plug in and use. Three heat settings, low, med and high, with an automatic 2 hr shut off. I found this warming blanket quick to heat also so cozy and relaxing! A must have for cold winter months!!! I can’t suggest a better electric throw than this one! Best I’ve tried!

Excellent Half-Blanket

If you need a full blanket, this isn't it. If a half-blanket works, this is great. I only use the lowest heat setting. The heat comes quickly, is warmer over the feet, and automatically shuts off in two hours. It is wide enough for one adult, not two. The blanket itself is a bit heavy and will keep a person fairly warm. I am very pleased with the purchase.

Best Quality

I am writing this review months after purchase. My kids are rough with heated throws and I generally have to replace at least one, annually. Not this one and it's heavily used, and still looks almost new a couple of washings on delicate cycle, it's still soft and plush. I'm impressed, the other brands look tatty in comparison. We all run to the sofa to claim this one first on really cold days!

I have had this throw for a couple of months now. My husband is the cold one and he loves this throw. It has three settings for heat and it eliminated his feeling of always being cold. It is soft, light and has heat all through the throw, not just the perimeter. He is 6'2" tall and it covers him from his shoulders to his feet. Have not washed it yet.

So soft!

Love it! It is so soft and such a pretty color. It heats up wonderfully. The only negative I have is that it only has 3 settings, low, medium, high. I like the number settings better for those mid temperatures. It is still a very nice throw.

Wonderful blanket. The picture does not do it justice! When I pull the blanket over my aching bones, it’s like Heaven! So soothing soft. Nicely weighted adds to my comfort even more. I love it. Love mt plush blanket!

I love the plush feeling of the heating blanket. Its a great size. Love the 3 different heat seating. I love bundling up on my couch in the winter with this blanket. Definitely recommend. I got itnin my favorite color purple.

No way will I even think of ordering a cheaper one for family next year. But I will be ordering more of these for gifts. So soft on the skin that’s it’s like laying under a cloud. It really paid to get a great quality item on our first ever purchase of a heated blanket. I was use to the old bed heater sheet and there not skin friendly to me. No this item. So so so soft as butter. Thanks bed and bath for carrying quality items.

I’ve bought 3!

LOVE these oversized soft heated blankets. I have purchased 3 at this point because eventually my kids pull and tug on them and break the internal heating wires. If mine last 2 seasons with kids, an normal adult who takes care of their things would have one for many years.

Warm, large size throw.

This throw almost covers my full size bed. Love the 3 heat option settings. I warm up bed at night and helps me get to sleep faster. I usually turn off before falling asleep. Would recommend. I got the turquoise color which is a pleasant beachy color.

Save your money …

I bought two of these to give to each of my kids since they love the electric throw I have on the couch (different brand). Neither worked when we plugged them in the first time. One of the blankets sort of got warm and then after a few minutes started blinking and shut off. The other just never got warm at all. I tried unplugging the plug in the blanket. Unplugging from the wall. Changing outlets. Nothing worked. I’ve had electric blankets in the past and have had no issues. I ended up returning.

This heated thow was slated for my recliner & that is where it is relaxing my neck & back tension & it enables me to read or watch TV in complete comfort while the house thermostat can be maintained at a moderate low.// Sorry, heating element broke within 3 weeks of use and too late to return. the weather did not allow for immediate use & therfore no refund. UNHAPPY

Plush heated throw, feels toasty warm even on low!

This BeautyRest plush heated throw exceeded my expectations! It warms up quickly and the auto 2 hour shut off eases any concerns of overheating. The shade of purple is so vibrant and deep. I feel like royalty! Love this heated throw and highly recommend!

Meh

You’ll love this when you first get it. Heated blankets are amazing when the temp starts to drop. Then after a month or so. It stops working. This is the second blanket. I returned the first one to target. The first one stopped working within 30 days so I did an exchange directly through target. Thinking my first one was faulty. NOPE. Not the case for the second one. Lasted me a little over a month. I went with beauty rest instead of the cheaper heated blankets because you get what you pay for. I thought it would last me longer but no. Save your money. The longest use you will get out of this is three months and I think I’m being generous. I honestly think we just haven’t mastered the technology yet. Because of the wires in the blanket, at some point the blanket will tap out on you due to folding. I’d recommend getting a smaller size , maybe you’ll have less of a chance of the wires ruining the circuit. This blanket was large so I couldn’t just throw it anywhere and not fold it. I’m going to reach out for beauty rest because this is still under warranty. Third time might be the try but we’ll see.

Great Blanket

I tried the Beautyrest Plush Heated Throw. The blanket is super soft and comfy. I love that it's washable. The size is perfect for a sofa blanket. The cord is conveniently long enough that it can be used almost anywhere. And the color matches my living room perfectly. This might be my new favorite sofa blanket.
