We love this bench. So many of my friends have asked me to send this link to them! It is exactly what we were looking for so long. It is a cute cosy bench with beautiful velvet fabric and brilliant storage. Putting it together was a bit cumbersome for the first leg screw as it requires at least 2 people to hold the bench, and the screw goes through the storage opening area. Once you get a hang of it, it takes about 30-40 minutes to set the arms. Overall, we are very satisfied with this purchase. We might buy another one. Way to go Overstock!

Quality and Functionality and Style!

The rich navy color combined with a nice quality velvet makes for a lovely and classic looking storage bench/settee which can coordinate with different styles of furniture. With no appreciable closet storage in my place, the settee holds several blankets and an extra set of sheets. However, one should note that the storage space on the bench is not particularly deep so it won't hold a large amount of items. This is a pretty sturdy piece that can be used to sit on. It's super easy to assemble and will be ready for use practically immediately. I've had it for several years and am pleasantly surprised to say it still looks brand new.

Decent bench, not fantastic but not bad in anyway

A decent bench, originally ordered it for a guest room but ended up swapping it with a lighter linen bench we had in our master because it just went better with the decor in that room. We still have it in there, about 2 years later today. It's not overly deep so don't plan on storing anything other than light blankets or sheet sets in it (none of our pillows fit) - but that wasn't the reason I picked it anyway. It rarely gets used (it's an accent piece in our room) and for that little use, it has shown more wear than I'd expect (some of the stitching on the edges has come lose and some of the buttons are close to falling off, probably would if anyone actually sat on it) so deducting one star for that reason.
