Perfect for Organization

shipped quickly in perfect condition. no damage,no assembly needed. Just perfect for my organizing needs. very roomy with a beautiful finish. It will fit plenty of files. we are overwhelmed with papers papers everywhere. I'm looking forward to having all my paperwork in it's home.

I haven't had a very long, but it seems like a nice file cabinet. The unit is light weight compared to the Hon cabinet that I have. I suppose that is both a good thing and a bad thing. It is easier to move, but perhaps more prone to tipping. The drawers slide in and out smoothly, and the latches feel smooth and secure. However, as I mentioned earlier I haven't had it very long. I also Like the lock. It seems to function well. It doesn't have as nice of a device to hold your files up as the Hon cabinet.

We use this in our printing business to file Job Dockets. The cabinet is the perfect size for this.

I had been looking on the Internet for a quite a while to find a filing cabinet that was deep and all drawers locked. It is for our church office and we could not afford the ones that I found. Most of them were over $175 and that was just for two and three drawer cabinets. When I found this one I was a little leery because the price was so reasonable (it was on sale). And what made it even better, it was four drawers. I ordered it and we set it up and it works great. All the files fit in just right and the lock is very smooth and easy to turn. I still can’t believe we got such a good deal on it.

Good buy on a file cabinet

I purchased this metal file cabinet because I ran out of room in my two-drawer wooden file cabinet. The cabinet is well made and operates perfectly. The drawers all roll out smoothly when loaded. The design makes it easy to file hanging folders using the file folders designed for that purpose. This makes it easier to keep track of expenses and obligations. I would recommend to a friend.

Hirsch Industries 3000-series, 4-dr File Cabinet

Greetings from Florida! For the price, it is a good unit and definitely a more-than-adequate files-maintenance & storage file. The price is the dead giveaway on what the "Material" might be, i.e., not the strongest nor best high-end quality of metal but, a well put together and very functional unit overall. If it were to be located in an outside-type environment (like a garage or shed), I would definitely have opted for, and paid the higher price, for a much more solid and heavier metal quality unit. For inside files storage, it will more than handle whatever ones Administrative needs arise. The one particular "item" that clinched the sale for me was, that the "drawer-shelving top edging" are fashioned/designed in a manner to accommodate "letter-sized, hanging folders"; WITHOUT the need to purchase/use additional runner-type "hanging folder type bar units" - a great added design feature to be sure. If it had been a much more sold metal unit, I would easily have given it a 5-star rating; but of course, for that added quality it all boils down to "if you want to dance, ya' gotta' pay the band". Since it will be an inside files-maintenance cabinet, I did not feel it necessary for investing any extra: the unit is an excellent buy just as it stands!
