Not thrilled

I ordered two. One of them had drawers that only open if a beefy man tugged with all his might. We originally thought they might have come locked, and used the key muplitple times only to clear, we definitely had it unlocked while we tried to tug open the drawers. The other one worked much better, but I'm still not thrilled with how hard you have to pull to open it. I'm hoping it will get smoother with continuous use.

Staples HL 1000 lateral File Cabinet

We recently purchased a Staples HL 1000 lateral file cabinet. They delivered the wrong one, the drawer didn't open and the whole back was bashed in. We went back to Staples in Apple Valley and spoke with John. He was most helpful and ordered pick up of the defective cabinet and delivery of the correct cabinet for Friday. The delivery arrived on Wednesday instead, as I was leaving for an appointment which I ended up being late for. The good news is that they delivered the correct cabinet and it was in good shape with everything working correctly. We then went back to Staples and again John was great and compensated us for all of the issues and inconveniences. We really like the cabinet and were impressed with John's persona and help. We give it a 4 our of 5 stars due to the warehouse and delivery contractor being in error. John was great!

Filing Bliss

Been wanting a filing cabinet for years. Was told by an associate from a Staples store close to my home to visit the Staples on US1 close to 104 St.

Great coverage, no globbing

Needed a new pen system and I'm very particular about the ink coverage and colour of the ink. The black is very black and LOVE the red.

My writing is so bad I need a pen like this so that I can decipher the scribble! A reg pen just gives an unreadable mess.

Cheap construction

I had great difficulty positioning 2 of the 4 hanging file rails. I virtually had to take drawers apart to loosen them up. Metal casing is so thin that drawers buckle when they are pulled out. I've had this cabinet for 2 weeks and hope that it will last another two weeks. If receiving the cabinet to my apartment were not so difficult, I would have returned it immediately.

We use the file cabinet for our work papers before we archive them. It holds so much material. We will be purchasing more of these cabinets in the future.

Great Product-We saved over used

We are a growing business and needed the filing space but we also got current storage space, past storage space, and future storage space. Easy to set up and move files around as necessary.

Great Quality - Less Expense

We have purchased the leading name-brand similiar file cabinets in the past. We find no difference in the quality, materials, construction. This product is just as sturdy -- for much less money.

We use this in our home. I have two other people to keep papers for and this is the easiest way to do it with the lateral file. Each person has their own drawer.

Not Recommended

The filing cabinet is very flimsy. The drawers are crooked, I wouldn't have purchased 3 of these if I knew they were like this.

Seems that cabinet is not well supported and we had to use Cardboard to level. Drawers were opening by themselves.
