It was very sturdy, but the scroll was just a bit off so it was not centered on the pole.
Beautiful alternative to plastic or wood mail posts.
Looking for a double mailbox post and accessories that are attractive and affordable was a very frustrating experience. After months of searching for something, I finally found the Qualarc brand of products and decided on this particular model. The mailboxes and decorative base showed up right on time, but the post did not. After nearly 2 weeks of back and forth a very nice gentleman there was able to fix the problem and I received the post directly from the manufacturer. Despite all of that trouble, I am very impressed with the products. We had this installed in under 30 minutes and it looks amazing and much more expensive. I expect it will last much longer than cedar or plastic posts that are so common. Don't hesitate to purchase; however you may be better off ordering from the manufacturer directly.

I hope I can resolve this and get the mailboxes I ordered. Customer service had to put me on hold for another 10 minutes for some reason. Maybe thru email it can be resolved.
