I ❤️ my new bed!!

I was very impressed with the quality and sturdiness of this bed. The weight of the boxes should have been an indicator 😂 I actually bought two of them, and I am so glad that I did!

Love the storage, but weirdly too big.

I love the storage in this bedframe. It's solid and sturdy, but since there's no headboard the gap at the head of the bed is big enough that my pillow gets shoved down into it. I had to stuff towels in the gap to stop it. It's also too big for my queen mattress. There's almost an inch on either side. Around the corners, you can see down into the drawers and things can fall into them. A mattress with more square corners would fit better. My wife and I constantly hit our knees on the corners.

Over all the bed came out very nice. The look of the wood was just as pictured. Did have some issues: The instructions had all the items labeled, yet not of the actual pieces nor bolts/screws had a label. Was able to figure it out, but assembly would have been a lot easier with labels. A few of the boards were warped, tho once you screwed and bolted them in they straightened out. Lastly the screws to fasten the shelf base to the bed frame were not long enough, the frame of the bed pulled right of of the screws.

Full size Prepac 6 drawer storage bed

Full size Prepac 6 drawer platform storage bed in Espresso color was as described. The instructions were easy to understand and assembly required two people. The edges of some of the boards were sharp and needed a light sanding with very fine grit sandpaper. There was one minor issue with the bed for us, the wood boards for supporting the mattress are spaced just a little too far apart, allowing some of the coils of a traditional mattress to not sit flush. This issue was resolved by buying a thin sheet of 4x8 hardboard from homedepot, measuring and cutting it for an exact fit over the boards for the traditional mattress to rest on. Also separately purchased the Prepac Flat Panel Headboard (which does require drilling holes and purchasing anchor bolts from a hardware store) and the Prepac Fremont 3 Drawer Tall Nightstand to complete the modern look. Overall would recommend.
