Love the frame but lights only worked for two months max. I replaced the batteries in the remote, unplugged and plugged it back in and they still don’t work. Of course it’s outside of the 30days so not much I can do about it.

Great bed for a teenager's room

While it took three tries to get one delivered that wasn't broken, my son loves it. It looks fantastic, has nice storage, and the LED lights add fun ambiance to his room. I'm very happy with this bed.

Lights stopped working after 2 months

Bed and storage were exactly what I wanted and good quality for the price. Only complaint is that the LED lighting stopped working after 2 months. The whole reason I bought this headboard was for the lights and now they don't work. Tried trouble shooting and still doesn't work. Don't buy this headboard if you are buying it for the lighting.

Bed needs a box spring / foundation

I purchased this bed online and love the look. Im happy with my purchase but one thing I didn't like is the picture used for the advertising of the bed is misleading and the comment about not needing a box Spring/foundation was WRONG. This bed does need a foundation.

Gorgeous, well made.

Gorgeous. Delivery and set up was a breeze. Need to have a box spring because there are no slots, so if going from a platform bed make sure to get one. Looks beautiful.

Most difficult item I have ever assembled

The headboard did not have enough predrilled holes for the amount of screws. I had to use a drill to get screws in which went through front if headboard. The directions had a QR code for a video. The link says coming soon. It has been over 3 hours and I am not close to

Beautiful bed but NOT a reading light.

The bed is beautiful and sturdy. The drawers glide easily and smoothly. No 5 stars because the “reading†light in the bookcase headboard is any thing but and one of the reasons I chose this bed over another I was thinking about was for the reading light. First, the light (no matter the color - there are 3) is not bright enough for reading. It is more an mood light with remote control to set it for flash, strobe, fade or smooth. Definitely not for reading. The worst thing about the light is that the remote does not work when you are laying down! The remote receiver is in top of the bookcase headboard so you have to stand up (unless you have abnormally long arms) to change the light setting. Plus, there is no “sleep†option to have it automatically turn off after a period of time. The lighting was not well thought thru. It would have better to simply have an on off switch built into the headboard.

Perfect choice

I ordered this bed in a king size for delivery only. The setup was super easy and product is very sturdy. I love the led light. I just love this bed altogether!! It was a great choice!

Granddaughters bed

My granddaughter needed a new bed. We came to Slumberland so she could puck it out. She found what she wanted. She loves it! As long as she's happy I'm happy! Thank you

Strange size, mattress doesn’t fit as pictured

In the picture it appears as though the mattress supports sit at the top of the side boards. They, in fact, do not. The cross member mattress supports are at the BOTTOM of the side boards so if you have a “normal” thickness mattress it will barely sit above the side boards. So, I bought a box spring mattress to raise up my memory foam mattress to make it look more like the picture. BEWARE! This bed frame is the EXACT width of a box spring as well!!!! This means a box frame will not fit into the bed frame. The mattress in the photo must be at least 3’ thick to be able to sit as high as it is. Also of note, there are ONLY 3 cross beam supports so if you are using a memory foam mattress, I’d recommend dropping down a sheet of plywood for some support, otherwise the narrow cross beams will start sinking into your mattress

Drystan Bookcase Storage Bed

The product arrived and was simple enough to put together. It took my son and myself about an hour to assemble it. The one negative I had (and this is not the fault of Slumberland) is that it took about 10 weeks to arrive. The salesperson was very friendly, nice, and listened to our concerns pertaining to different beds. She took the time to find exactly what we were looking for, in a price range that was acceptable to us. Thank you Slumberland!

Do not buy this bed!

Do not buy this bed! The packages arrived damaged, there was a crack on the wall in the legs. There are no instructions for assembling the main part of the bed, only two sheets about the head board. And there are no enough hardware to assemble whole bed. Several days of chat with the Customer Service yielded no results. I had to hire a builder and buy hardware to install the bed. It's just unacceptable!

Love it.

I wanted a bed frame with a bookcase headboard, but couldn’t do a storage bed (with drawers underneath) because I have a SleepNumber adjustable mattress. The other options I’ve found looked cheap and, well, boring. This bed (king) fits the mattress perfectly. I love the finish on this and the matching nightstands. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the headboard shelf already has holes on either side that you can run power or usb cords through â€" I thought we’d have to drill them ourselves. The lights in the headboard are a nice touch, with several color options and adjustable brightness. I plugged them into a “smart†plug so I can turn them on/off with Alexa (the last thing I need is to deal with yet another remote control). Finally, I was worried about the wait, but it wasn’t bad, under the current circumstances. It took about 6 weeks for the nightstands to arrive and 7 weeks for the bed.

Nice enough

The bookshelf does not seem to fit anything bigger than a regular paperback (3x5") book. The material is not the color we matched in the store to another piece of furniture. And there is a gap of about 2" at the top/bottom of the box spring between head/foot board (only one end depending on where we push the box spring). It seems sturdy. Drawers were smaller capacity than I anticipated.

Furniture is great - Installers not so much.

Perfect bedroom set for our teenager

This bedroom set is gorgeous with it's stressed looking wood. We love the storage drawers and book shelves under one side of the bed for organization. When it is delivered, the delivery people put the furniture together for you for less hassle. Our son told us his bedroom furniture is nicer than ours now. He loves it.

Very nice, but finish scratches off easily

The set is beautiful to the eye. Very solid and looks great in my room even though it is not made of solid wood. My only issue is how easily it scratches and scrapes. Within one week, I had to use my wood crayons to fill in scratches, some from moving a tv and soundbar on top of it, some at the base of the bed where I was moving the boxspring and mattress, and some in the cubby areas where the roomba had tried to clean the cubby and easily wore off the finish. I would hope that the finish was a little more ingrained or sealed to avoid these types scrapes. Get the wood finish crayons and use a combo of all the colors: white, black, and 2 browns together to fill in the areas to match the rustic, reclaimed look. Easy to fix, but a little disappointing.

I love the bedroom suite. A beautiful bedroom suite at a fair price. I ordered it September 19 and received it November 14. If you are in no hurry for your furniture this is the place to shop. The bedroom is made of sturdy wood. Very nice. The guys who worked for the trucking company put the bedroom suite together and did a great job. Thank you Coleman Furniture Company.

My bed and bureau arrived today and it looks just like in the pictures. I purchased a full size as I have a small bedroom. It looks amazing. I was worried about sleeping on slats, but slats are screwed on and bed itself sits high enough I got rid of my box spring. Storage on both sides very pleased with this purchase. Storage is so important when you live in tight quarters!
