RETURNED
I have the old organic crinkled percale sheets purchased as separates on sale previously, and l love them. The old sheets are audibly crinkly and cool to the touch. THEN I ordered this 'set' which I'm reviewing. They are NOT the same sheets despite sharing the same name. They are NOT audibly crinkly nor are they cool to the touch. Rather, they have been 'softened' which has ruined them. They are limp as a wet noodle. Before I returned them in a New York minute, I wondered why Coyuchi tried to fix what wasn't broken and ruined the product in the process. Dumb move.
Not quite as linen-looking as in the ad photo
Sheets are decent, but in the original photo look really linen-like and had that great natural crinkle. Wasn't so in actuality. Washed and dried them and just ended up looking like average wrinkly, versus crinkled, sheets from India. Yes, great color. But a little disappointed, especially for the price.
Not as expected
When I read cottong percale I quickly purchased two of them in different colors but I was expecting softness, even after washing and fresh sheets. I got none. I have very sensitive skin and it was hot already, I felt as if it had thorns, I felt little pinches all over my skin and I was hot, very hot, it took me longer to fall asleep. I washed them but nothing helped and after use they feel a bit softer but the same hot surface. Sorry, this is not for me.
Lovely sheets, be careful with steel blue color
These sheets are lovely and well-made. If you apply moisturizer before sleeping, however, be warned that the steel blue color will show grease stains on the pillowcases immediately. (I have never had this problem before with other sheets, perhaps because I've previously purchased white or navy). The sheets _are_ a lovely color, but next time I'd order white or some darker color.
Beautiful but disappointed
The sage color is gorgeous and exactly what I was looking for! Liked at first but after only a couple of washes (tried to get them softer as they are rough) there's pretty bad discoloration in a few places that will not come out. I followed the washing instructions too! I've treated and soaked and cannot get the discoloration out, disappointing after paying top dollar for good quality sheets.
Very good, but the frantic felt thin
These sheets were lovely. The color was great and they were sufficiently soft from the start. However, I was hoping for a thicker, more robust seeming fabric. Ultimately, I returned theses sheets and got an undyed set from a different brand.
Perfect all-year sheets
Amazing sheets. I bought them as a backup pair to my existing Coyuchi Sateen sheets and, for some reason, didn't expect to like them as much. They instantly became my main sheets. The Percale is incredibly soft and quite a bit more breathable than the Sateen. It stays cooler in the summer but is still plenty warm for winter as well. The Sedona color has proved much more color-fast than any of my other Coyuchi sheets or towels, which is usually the only issue I have with Coyuchi products. I'll be getting a second pair soon.
Love These Sheets, Minus a Star for Availability
I've been using these sheets for years and they are perfectly light and soft, and they hold up well. But for whatever reason, you can't buy single flat sheets in King size. I just don't need anymore pillowcases or fitted sheets. At this point, I'd pay as much for one single King sized flat sheet as they charge for a set just to simplify my life and not buy extra things I don't need. Why this strange restriction? Why not let people who love your products replace things as needed?
Not for those with pets
I am so bummed about these sheets. I did lots of research before deciding to pull the trigger on such a pricy set. They are high quality, but feel heavier than most other percale sheets so I wouldn’t recommend to anyone looking for light and airy sheets. All of that wouldn’t matter but these things are a dog (and human) hair MAGNET. We literally can’t use them because we have to spend 30 min lint rolling them every time we make the bed. This doesn’t happen with any other sheets we own (including Citizenry linen and Brooklinen Percale.) I wish I was able to return these since we can’t use them.
Top-of-the-Line Percale Sheets
If you are searching for the cr?me de la cr?me percale sheets, look no further. I run cold and my husband runs hot, however, we are both comfortable in these sheets. I love the vintage grey color…reminds me of a ‘70s SoCal beach house.
Unfortunately not worth it.
I had high hopes for these sheets after hearing the owner on a podcast, however I do not find them to be worth the cost. I really liked them, but my bottom sheet ripped after less than 2 years of owning them, despite following the care instructions. The buttons on my duvet cover also broke in half in several places - how does that even happen? Unfortunately, Coyuchi did not offer any help except a 15% discount on future purchases if I returned my items to their recycling program. The price of these is too high for such poor durability and overall quality.
Not what I was expecting. This feels nothing like other percale sheets. It's got a rough, almost prickly texture that does not seem like it will sleep cool. The color seems more gray/blue than a teal. I've already washed these & it has not softened. I gave 3 stars for the 'organic' label, they smelled nice out of the box, no chemical smell. That being said, they were in a cloth bag, in the box, so I'm glad they were delivered on a nice day. I have not slept on these yet. For the price? It has, so far, left a lot to be desired. I am hoping that they improve with use. I am really unsure of the 'percale' label on these.

I love these fitted sheets!
I love these fitted sheets! My sig. other had ordered some sheets & a duvet cover for himself, and I felt them right after he'd laundered, before putting on his bed. I knew I had to have some! The texture and feel of these sheets is lovely & the fit is perfect for my full-size mattress. Weight & tone are not that important to me but both are fine.
Bad Sheets/Bad Experience with Customer Service
These sheets, which I loved, developed two surprise, significantly sized holes after 365 days and two months (not of continual use, they were rotated), no problem with stretching too much on the mattress (the fitted one was the one involved), no jewelry near them, no pets to claw at them, washed in large lingerie bags according to directions. What more could I do?? Reported problem to customer service was told because the time frame was 2 months over the 365 days, they could do nothing; but offer a 15% off for next order. That policy is 365 to return for any reason, even if you just don't want them anymore for a store credit. I really liked the coolness and lightness of these sheets. I would not have returned them after using them for a year because I didn't want them anymore. What kind of nonsense is that? But,worse of all, a company that cannot stand by its' products is not a company I can afford to do business with. I am in the processing of cancelling an order for another pair of COYUCHI sheets that I just ordered a few days ago-NEVER AGAIN-a product that doesn't last a bit over a year is NOT WORTH IT and a company like this is just full of hot air -there will be NO next order.
Really wanted to love these sheets
I needed a set of Queen sheets so I decided to give these a try…I read so many great things about these sheets and was excited to try them out but unfortunately I just don’t feel they were worth over $200. These are the most expensive sheets I’ve ever purchased and although I love the mission and values behind the company, the actual sheets themselves did not live up to my expectations. Right out of the box they felt a bit rough so I figured they might soften up after being washed. I washed them once and they didn’t feel noticeably softer. They are also VERY thin and the stitching/hem on the edges seems cheap. I actually have a set of organic sheets from another company (but full size) and ended up going back to that company for queen size sheets at less than 1/3 of the price. They also have a good mission and source their materials ethically and sustainably. I did also but a set of towels from coyuchi and am looking forward to trying those out…hopefully those work out. Bummed about the sheets but I guess it wasn’t meant to be.
Disappointed for the price
The white is completely see through. After 1 wash the "crinkle" texture no longer exists. Still can't really figure out why these are called "crinkled" - they're just normal sheets. The texture is rough which I like, but the worst part is they wash TERRIBLY. I've had them for about 7 months and they're so discolored, no amount of bleaching or washing seems to help at all. I wash my sheets every week or 2, but of course over time the spot you always sleep in gets a little less white. I've never had white sheets in the past though that the discoloration is so immediate and unwashable? Unfortunate for the high cost.
Dyed vs Undyed Comparison
I purchased a second set of the Organic Crinkled Percale in blue after falling in love with the Un-dyed Rose Hip color. The dye definitely changes the hand of the sheets. The undyed is soft and feels like butter the dyed sheets are not quite as soft. Not in a sandpaper way just a noticeable difference if you happen to have a set of each for comparison. No smell on either set, washes well on cold delicate with no dye transfer. I am following Coyuchi's care instructions. Why I purchased these, I am a hot sleeper year around, live in hot humid Central FL & wanted a breathable organic sheet. These breathe well and feel good. Pairs well with a thin linen blanket if it gets chilly. Sheets are finished well, no loose threads, no issues after several wash cycles. Would purchase more if needed.
Aegean green and Rosehip striped sheets
I purchased two sheet colors in the crinkle. The Aegean is not nearly as soft as the Rosehip striped one. I know light colors tend to be much softer. The light one is incredibly soft. However, I got a full and a king. The full is for an 11 inch Saatva mattress and the king is for a 13 inch Saatva. The full is a little too large. I will have to make it do since I washed it. I was not able to get any pillowcases and I have been checking for several weeks. Sheets without pillowcases is not so great. I did not want a set because I don't use top sheets, as is the case with many people I know. I think Coyuchi should note that an 11 inch mattress may not have a good fit. Many of the Ghost type mattresses are not super thick. Some are even less than the 11 inch regular mattress I have. I just think it should be noted. The shipping was good, even with the holidays. I probably won't buy many of the sheets because too many places offer free shipping. I got free shipping for the Christmas special but now they charge for shipping unless you spend a substantial amount of money. There are sheets just as nice with better sales and shipping. Overall, I would recommend the light colored sheets for a mattress that is at least 12 inches thick.
Light As Air
I ordered a set of these sheets on sale, deciding to try them out. At first they seemed a little stiff though still soft - but after about a week I noticed they eased up. They all but float over you, especially if you’re laying them with other light bedding. They hold in enough heat to keep you comfortable but never hot. But what I like best about them is the “clean” feeling - of slipping into an airy world void of gravity each night, where your bedding merely floats and settles around you, never constraining. Maybe it’s due to the temperature regulation or the fact they float, but they seem to stay fresher much longer than other sheets. They’re a splurge, for sure, but we spend a lot of our lives in bed and this seems a valid expense if you want an improved sleeping experience.
