The replacement transformer is much higher quality than than 3rd party products. But the price was way too high. I could've bought a whole new controller for $25 more! This item should be $15 NOT $50,

Great transformer to power the digital thermostat
I use this transformer to power the digital WiFi thermostat in my hangar. This is my second one, had to replace it after 10+ years because the case cracked due to the way I installed it. It’s heavy enough that it has to be supported or the case will crack starting at the top and the crack progresses down the entire case.

I first called Rainbird to inquire about purchasing a new transformer for my timer. The young lady I spoke to was extremely polite and helpful as she directed me to the Rainbird website. I navigated through the website very easily and quickly. Found the part I needed and placed my order. This process only took a few minutes. I was kept in the loop about the status of my order. My transformer arrived on time and is doing its job. Thank you Rainbird!
