Got this one to replace an old one at my front door. This one i like as it a nice size and I like the finish. I also like that it lights up. Easy to install. The screws provided are sturdy and not cheap like you get with other things. The button is easy to press. The door bell connects easy as they show you which wires go on what screw. This is attached to a very old door ringer that works.

I ordered this Newhouse Hardware Wired Metal Rectangular Surface Mount Doorbell Chime Push Button with LED Button Light in Black because it is a very nice looking unit. When I got it I noticed right away that it was very heavy for it's size and very nice looking. The finish is very rich looking. I saw that very complete instructions were included along with two mounting screws of the same color. I planned on using this button on my garage door opener because it is lit. After trying several times I could not get it to open my 35 yr old garage door opener. My mistake totally. I was bummed out. I am sure that it will work on my daughters door bell but with the terrible cold this year, it will have to wait. I am very impressed with the quality of this button and feel that it is worth the price. It will not crack and the installation is easy. You need one to dress-up your home.

This Newhouse hardwired rectangular metal enclosed surface mount and lighted doorbell switch is perfect for our house siding. I ordered it because I like the style but mostly I like the lighted push switch. It's use on our rear entrance way is perfect. The quality is very good. It is easy to install and will work out as planned for years. I like it.
