This is the 2nd one /I had to replace the first one after wheel broke off that was not repairable - such a great design - worth every penny.

Cute but small

This little bike is very cute, but very small. There were skirmishes between my grandson and granddaughter over another foot to floor ride on tractor, so I got this. Unfortunately, my two 18-month-old granddaughters aren't quite big enough to ride it yet, and it's too small for my 3-year-old grandson. There's something about the wheel placement that makes it awkward, where the John Deere foot to floor ride on toy doesn't cause the kids difficulty when they ride it. So, there is a probably going to be a very small window of time when (hopefully) they'll be able to ride the Radio Flyer Scoot About Sport. As for now, it doesn't work for any of my three grandkids.

Bit disappointed

Bought this online without seeing it as I live in the UK, and it was for my grand daughter's 2nd birthday, in USA. Delivery etc was good. However, it looks as though she's finding it hard to get going on it. The front wheels and axle are in the way of the 'forward' sweep she needs to really get going. She can only push from a little bit further forward than her body line, which means she can't get much impetus. Frustrating for her. Poor design?

Perfect for toddler

This is our second purchase of this item. First birthday gifts for both of our grands, neither had mastered walking. It’s just the perfect item…and so well made! I’m sure these will one day be passed down to future generations. Both of our grands LOVED putting things in the under seat storage compartment. It’s designed well, and doesn’t easily tip. Our grandson pushed it backward (standing in front) as he learned to walk. Front bar is perfect for little to put their feet up so you can take them for a ride. Highly recommend.

I bought two scoot about sport scooters, one for each of my grandchildren for this Christmas. They haven’t revised them yet, but I will bet they will be having a blast on Christmas morning scooting around the house.

Sturdy and delightful

I bought this as a present for my two year old grandson and he loves pushing it along and being pushed. The storage space under the seat is really cool.

Perfect First “Bike”

I gave my grandson the Radio Flyer Scoot About Sport for his first birthday. It shipped and arrived a little sooner than estimated. He loves the lift up seat to put toys in, though he is sad his favorite stuffed animal friend is too big to fit. I showed him that his stuffed animal can sit in front of him, and that made him happy. His feet don’t quite touch the floor but we practiced how to sit on it, hang on to the handle bars, and use his feet to move it. He’ll be using it himself in no time.

Lots of fun

Bought this for my grandson for his first birthday, he loves it. His favorite feature is that the seat lifts and he can stash sticks and rocks while riding.

I spent so much time looking for scooters for a 1 year old. The radio flyer website. And price were great. Received it very quickly and she loves it! The rubber coated wheels are great and the under seat storage is used all the time.
