[Rewarded Review] Awful smell

The rug itself is pretty. After I opened the rug, it was wet and smelled like dirt. While trying to unfold the rug, dirt fell all over my floors. I vacuumed the rug several times. Several days later- there is still an outdoor smell in my room. I would send back but the rug is extremely heavy and would not be worth it.

This rug looks and feels better than we imagined it would be. We love the variegated subtle stripes of tan, light brown, and gray-green. With the felt pad underneath, this rug is very comfortable under our feet. The only thing that we have against it so far is the shedding. It makes the wood floor that it’s on look dusty quickly. The felt pad prevents this shedding from falling through to the floor underneath.

These are not good quality. They unravel, shed chunks of fibers constantly, bunch and slide all over (not good for kids or dogs), and are irregular in shaped, so forget about rug pads, and can not be cleaned. I do not recommend. Every time you pass the runner, you’ll have to stretch and straighten. Every. Single. Time. Had a month and returning.

Just Ok...

The one thing I really love about the rug is the color variations. The brown jute with the white makes it look more expensive. However, the rug is really flimsy. I've made the mistake of buying a rug pad before and it left permenant dots on my wood floors that won't come out no matter what I do. Thus, this rug is much to flimsy on its own. I can't even step on it without it shifting. Unfortunately, I willl have to return it

These are horrible to walk on. There is a high ridge. I don’t know how these got such good reviews. Look great but most uncomfortable rug ever. Will be getting replacements from someplace else. The return shipping is to expensive. Starting to have doubts about Wayfair. Just a horrible rug.

It's beautiful, and soft underfoot. Heavy and good quality. I am giving it a three star because we are pet owners and this rug is very very difficult to vacuum. If you turn the beater on, little tufts pull out of the rug making it look like the rug is falling apart. if you don't turn the beater on, the pet hair remains. If this was in a low-traffic area, i would give it 5 star.

Nice cream and jute color works great in coastal bedroom. Because of jute rug isn't very soft.

I would give a zero if I could. Worst customer service and rug is awful. It isn’t cut straight and has so many pulls and threads coming out. The woman I spoke with who said she was a supervisor made me pay $30 for shipping back even though the rug is damaged. They said Jute often looks used with many pulls and isn’t cut straight. It is absurd that wayfair has gone way down hill with their customer service.

The rug seems ok now that it is dry.

I love this rug so much! It elevated my living room into a more relaxing vibe!!! The texture is pretty soft, I was worried that it might be rough but it was not the case!

Hi all, I searched relentlessly for a website that carried a wide variety of jute rugs of varying sizes. Thank goodness for Joss and Main because I finally found what I needed. The ordering was simple and the delivery was relatively fast. It turned out the rug I ordered wasn’t quite the right fit so I ordered another (the right size this time) and set up the return for the one I’d gotten prior. Everyone I spoke with was both helpful and friendly and the current rug is exactly what I wanted. Given that I’d looked on so many websites, I can say from my search that Joss and Main’s prices were the best I found. It’s been a win-win all around.

Looks great in my space! I bought it to layer with another rug in my living room. Thick but not coarse.
